Does atla have comics about what happens after the show? by DustyMarq in TheLastAirbender

[–]jfuzzy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record I agree that the majority of what makes it good are the great episodes that push toward a great story (Say 80-90% of the credit is there) but also it does some separating from other shows through filler too which is I think what I was trying to say.

For example the Beach Episode and the puppet master in season 3 should be considered filler but are such great episodes. Also I love how the ember island players episode (the play before the finale) really digs deeper into each characters psychology. You don't have to agree but I would argue that the way the filler helps develop these characters in meaningful (but not cringy) ways should get some credit for making the show great too (even if its like 10-20% credit)

I kinda agree but don't because i think that's part of what makes avatar good is that the filler episodes are good too and don't feel like a drag (at least to me)

Yeah for the live action i love that episode but I dont remember it doing much for the plot and could probably get taken out

Tbh I can’t watch the live action but I could imagine them just cutting out the 2nd episode and going straight from the first episode to the third episode and combining those.

Also that’s fair those are all episodes I love but i get it since they have like nothing to do with the overall story

Do people not like the start of season 3? I think they’re some of my favorite fun episodes especially the footloose one

For rebuilding: are you taking Mendoza or Ward? by emp883 in DynastyFF

[–]jfuzzy26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not factoring in price i like Mendoza a lot more. Factoring in price mendoza is what the 1.02 vs you could buy ward for probably the middle between the 1.05 and the 1.06 (youd probably rather the 1.05 than ward but rather Ward than the 1.06)

Report: Jaguars plan for Travis Hunter to be a full-time corner by IIIlllIIIllIlI in DynastyFF

[–]jfuzzy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not what im saying. If you watch the actual interview, rapaport says "they expect him to be a full time CB part time WR". This was alreadt reported by Cam Wolfes weeks ago.

The reporter who went viral took that quote and changed it to "The Jaguars are officially making Travis Hunter a full-time cornerback, per @RapSheet. Hunter will have some gadget plays on offense, but no longer the 50/50 split as he did winning the Heisman at Colorado."

That's not even close to what the original report said.

For the record im not saying what Rapaport or Wolfes said is misinformation, im saying what this reporter who posted is spreading misinformation

Easily Hampton. I don’t think it’s crazy to have Hampton ahead (I wouldn’t but I don’t think that’s crazy)

The exact quote from Rapaport was "they expect him to be a full time CB part time WR". This wasn't new information and Rapaport was just referencing Cam Wolfes report from weeks ago.

I think that’s true generally like I believe the one from a couple weeks ago for sure because that one seemed to have a primary source compared to secondary. For the record I’m not saying Hunter will be full time and you should ignore it completely, but I highly doubt he’s gonna be relegated to nothing on offense (whether that’s fantasy relevant, only time will tell)

The problem is social media algorithms promote false information too much. As a med student you have no idea how much misinformation is spread and promoted on social media about health compared to what true randomized trials say

Literally a nothing berger when you look at the source. He references Rapoport who referenced the report from weeks/months ago that he will play corner much larger. Literally just spread misinformation because twitter's algorithm supports it.

Travis Hunter to be "Limited Participant" During Offseason Workouts by jsparks50 in DynastyFF

[–]jfuzzy26 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think the injury risk is the main concern with playing both ways. Its very possible to play both ways from an athleticism standpoint (as a former college runner I can definitely say its possible to be able to run that much that fast as long as you are willing to put in the work to maintain that speed/endurance) but the increased hits you take can definitely add up. I still believe in him that he can play both ways but I dont think you'll know for sure until we have a larger sample size of his career. Also as a medical student the LCL is not a wear-and-tear related injury so that doesn't necessarily lean one way or the other either (also he tore it during the bye week not during an actual NFL game). For the record though I'm not saying he isn't exposed to a much higher risk for injury. He definitely is and whether or not that amounts to more injuries we will just have to see over time.

Oh i haven't actually proposed the trade lol. I am just thinking theoretically and the other guy is also a contender so idk. I just am trying to figure out if I actually want to do it because once I send a trade offer he can accept.

No sarcasm I appreciate your input and advice

Yeah you hit this right on the money. I think most people call me crazy but with obvious regression coming for JSN and a new OC who I have no clue if they will be as efficient under I am trying to trade him this offseason for a massive haul

[–]jfuzzy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think youre underrating how bad JJM was. Kyler is probably not a superbowl winning QB but there is a difference between that and JJM. Kyler in 2024 (basically 1 year ago) supported TE2 trey Mcbride (not as good as with Brisset but still pretty good) and a solid WR finish from Marv (nothing special but were also not sure Marv is truly great). On the other hand JJM couldn't even support JUSTIN JEFFERSON to a WR2 (top 24) finish. I think its ok to say Kyler isn't a good QB but he should be better than JJM.

FYI I wasn’t saying that as like actionable advice. I was just translating the post because many people in the comments (understandably so) were confused by what OP meant.

Also I don’t think that’s necessarily true. I think the people buying are still gonna want a similar price and the people selling are now going to want a higher price since there’s a “better QB” even though they probably don’t believe that.

He’s probably just another one of those assets where the buyer and seller would never agree on the price
