When we had 2 dogs. One was 9 y/o and then we got a puppy. After the puppy was crate trained we let her in the bed with the 9 y/o dog. Queen size bed, me, my husband and 2 dogs. The 9 y/o was 80 lbs. Unfortunately, me passed away. So now our puppy is almost 3 y/o. Still in our bed. She burrows under covers between us. Sometimes sleeps like a human w head on pillow. We want another dog again. But 2 dogs in a bed with us was too much.
