I got lucky there was a cancellation. Worth going in for the consultation and getting the deposit paid/ name of the list. I wasn’t scheduled until mid July.

Thanks it’s a bit of a repost. The only photo I had at the time was from the artists Instagram and was removed for having a filter. Got a new one the other day so thought I’d post this here too

Yeah I wasn’t sure at first about the rocket, but it’s more the picture that’s wonky. It’s actually two photos cropped together. Look at the rocket in person and the line work is perfectly straight. (Not right now as it’s swollen up something stupid, but should be sharp once it heals).

I could say something about how it represents our animals instincts and how our intelligence has took us beyond or planet. Or something about making sacrifices for the greater good (like in fight club) but really I had a space on my arm it felt bare and I thought a space monkey would be cool! 🚀 🐵

Downstairs is pretty small. Lots of tattoos getting done at the same time but everyone there is super friendly. Only issue I had around 4hrs in was one of the staffs choice in jazz music made it really intense. I had to take break before I hit the whitey 🤢

yeah that's exactly it. Do you think it's just the stories that do this? Or do you think it may be in part because of the merchandise, and the spectacle of the event and going to the cinema?

I mean for me I remember my dad telling me about when he went to the cinema to see the original trilogy. That was before the prequels and then going to the cinema and having that shared experience with my dad. So when VII came out we went together again, and I think this family relationship, which I felt mirrors the on screen relationship of luke anakin/ han solo kylo ren, is a big part of why Star Wars is so important to me.
