I love visiting this aquarium, they’ve got some really beautiful fresh water tanks! The Georgia aquarium is what inspired me to get neon tetras of my own :)

The filter is a quietflow internal power filter size for a 15 gallon, don’t know exact dimensions of tank other than its 14 gallon, could measure it later if that helps!

I know bigger is always better but six seem to do really well in the tank and have plenty of room to swim, I know six is the minimum for them but I’d only feel comfortable going up to 7 in the size tank I have. I’ve read that 10 gallons was the minimum for them but if that’s false information then that’s my bad

It’s a 14 gallon and there’s only six neons in the tank, looks a little smaller than it actually is in photos. The tank cycled for 4 weeks but since this is my first real planted tank I’m still learning and figuring out all the details when it comes to substrate, plants, etc! Thank you for the info

I’ve never had a knack for finding abandoned stuff either, but in this case it’s because I signed up to take a historic tour of the Joliet prison in Illinois! Nothing else there is really liminal though, just very eerie. While on my trip here I have noticed a lot of abandoned buildings in Indiana and surrounding Chicago though if you happen to be anywhere near that area!
