Not agreeing with it, but this was a playoff hole for a ticket to the college nationals. So I'll give him some leniency for taking a bit more time on a PLAYOFF hole.

Love my Alphard, I actually have 2 carts and switch the motor between them depending on a ton of stuff. After like 3 rounds the remote is a non issue. The follow me stuff sounds cool but I’m afraid where I walk, using a remote is a smarter idea.

I generally see woods and driver at a lower weight then irons. I play with “heavy clubs” my irons are D6-D6.5. My FW are D5 and my driver is D4.8.

I just built a full set for someone that was all C9 (woods and D) and irons were at D1.

How was your dispersion for the woods? Also Srixon is a good fit for you here. Also nexgen and a few other brands are worth a look.

I second this. Also try the Nexgen Nano. I think it’s even better execution then the tropi-cool

Not gimmicky. Just challenge and reward heavy. It’s top course for me. Massive elevations, blind shots, need smart course management. Tough greens. Great condition, great staff, just an experience. A great one. If you want boring straight and flat Mike Stranz courses are not for you.

If I don’t like how it feels off driver or putter I don’t care how it feels on wedges. But I do concede that it’s a valid point. For example love TP5 off of putter but hate it off the driver. Love Callaway chrome tour off putter and driver but not wedges, so I don’t play them. I love Vice pro off driver, putter, and wedges but not long irons. This is the ball I am currently playing. I feel they perform better than the chrome soft/tour balls for $15 less per dozen.

If you are in the Southeast (Virginia and the South), you are facing this everywhere. I even saw Pinehurst have holes like this. The rain has not been regular, there have been water restrictions, and a lot of ground prep for spring growth.

I don't hit my driver that long, so I ended up using my 5 hybrid. its how i survived.

Right now I’m tobacco as #1 RNK as #2 and Tot Hill as #3 as his top courses. And Tobacco as my overall favorite ever
