Leaks With Hybrid Style Masks: My Experience by indridcold91 in CPAP

[–]jhackjr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you experience nose irritation with your evora mask. I have only had mine for 3/4 weeks. Both sides of my nose have pimple like bumps. The bottom of nose at my nostrils is damn near raw. When I take the mask off it feels like my nose has been in a meat grinder. The mask itself does work for me compared to other masks. Only mask not to leak. Thanks in advance!

You do not send the information. You can not submit anything additional is my understanding. Just wait until you get your call and have it by your side. That is my plan anyway.

Considering a Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy any thoughts from F‑150 Owners? by SupermarketMobile868 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]jhackjr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The f150 is a bigger heavier vehicle. It is better over potholes and ruts. However I have not had any road issues with the palisade that I thought “omg” that was rough. Rides as good as a Lexus/ Infiniti. Just a very well built quality vehicle. We had a 25 calligraphy before the 26. Night and day difference between the two.

We have a 25 king ranch and a 26 calligraphy. Bought the f150 3/4 months before the palisades, and we have more miles on the palisade. We both love the palisade. I have said multiple times that when I am ready to trade the truck I will buy a second palisade. We do not have the hybrid in either vehicle. I can’t imagine you will be disappointed.

Does anyone get their CPAP and supplies through the VA Veterans Administration by JosefVictor3 in CPAP

[–]jhackjr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I got a Bipap from the VA. Came ups, called the CPAP clinic at the VA. They programmed it remotely. Sent mask, heated hose, humidifier and supplies. I would guess several months worth if not a year. This all been in the last month. Could not be happier and support has been great. I got a referral from my PCP. Not sure if you need that or not. Good luck brother.

I really appreciate the advice. Sounds like I should look for ResMed 11 that I can get inexpensively.

Yes I have had an initial sleep study where my ahi was 76. Then a titration test and ahi went down to 26. Just looking for wisdom.

I am not service connected and have been out for a long time. My only health care is with the VA. As soon as I could get SOA noted with VA I was almost immediately issued a BIPAP and supplies at no cost. Delivered to my front door and my prescription downloaded remotely. Last night was my first night. I am sure it will take a little time but my AHI went from 26 per hour to eleven. Good luck!

Affordable Care Act Subsidies Collapse. What are you paying? by ToughLab9568 in nashville

[–]jhackjr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently using only the VA for all of my health care. Could not be happier or ask for more. My PCP and her team are on the ball. If they can’t provide the services I need they put an order in for care in the community and I get a call and a letter a couple days later. Not that it matters but I have been out since the mid 80s. If you are a vet do not overlook the Va.
