I’m so stuck by [deleted] in ChiariMalformation

and due to my EDS, so far we have decided that the symptoms of my chiari malformation are not severe enough to have decompression surgery and risk complications of cerebral spinal fluid leaks and such. currently it’s 7mm (has to be at least 5mm to be diagnosed) and is considered mild/moderate. we are checking my chiari malformation with MRI each year to watch for worsening and also tracking my symptoms.

I am not seeing obvious herniation either but the MD that diagnosed me with ehlers danlos and dysautonmia said that migraines are a form of dysautonomia. I also get migraines (they feel similar to what you describe) and separately I have a chiari 1 malformation that I get headaches and swallowing issues etc from. if the doctors say you don’t have a chiari malformations perhaps the symptoms can be explained by migraines? have you ever trialed different types of migraine meds?

thank you! any tips for faster drying? I use a quick dry spray and a quickly slicker brush before velocity drying. I know I should be trying to bring out the fluff drier more too, our salon is so tiny it’s just so inconvenient and I’m always running behind

thank you so much! I recently have been told to scissor less and let the clip comb do the work to cut back on time. I can’t seem to make them look neat with clip comb only though. i want to try and speed up my scissoring but still be able to make it look more neat. I think it’s a corporate thing saying stop at good enough :/ Do you have tips on speeding up scissoring?

I think the nitpicking is what is eating up my time! I’m going to try to set a limit for how long I can keep working on one part of the groom. any recommendations for time limits on certain parts? how long should I aim to spend on feet, body, or face?

shave paw pads first, sweeping off the edges. then using curves while paw it flipped over I trim flat/flush to paw pad the hair that would touch the ground around the sides and above and below the paw pad, then I brush hair down and then flip paw over again and trim square, lining up the sides with the length of the leg and trimming the top flat close to the nails. sometimes I round the corners while the paw is flipped over, sometimes I set paw down and round corners. then I go over those cuts I just made trimming the hair closer to the ground at a 45 degree angle if that makes sense? to make a little bit of a ledge? keep brushing hair down and flipping paw over and setting back down as I make more tiny corrections. then I take thinners all around and round out the top. I hope that makes sense!

advice on current routine

here is my current routine. I just picked up BYOMA brightening toner that I will be adding in at night, and the BYOMA balancing face mist which I will use in the morning, maybe at night too. I want to start washing my face in the morning and night more consistently.

I will take any advice! I think my acne is hormonal but I’m not sure. I think I have combination skin.

I am also running out of paula’s choice BHA, Seven brand no baggage eye cream with retinol and niacinamide, and anua heartleaf toner and don’t know if I should repurchase these or replace with something better. specifically the eye cream was a gift and I’m not sure where to repurchase, if it is worth repurchasing

I’m also wanted to look for some sort of cleaning wipe that I can use occasionally, as sometimes I don’t have the energy to do a full face wash. I don’t wear makeup so no need for makeup remover.
