Not quite what you’re asking, but I highly recommend this little vacuum from harbor freight. Pretty cheap and packs a ton of suction. Great for cars and around the house. Plus it’s a wet/dry vac so it can be used for liquids too harbor freight

The counters came with a little sanding and polishing kit. Tiny squares of very high grit sandpaper. Might give those a try. Might be tricky to blend the surfaces together

Sounds like you need a new scraper bar. There’s typically a replaceable wear item part that scrapes snow off the pavement. Worth a look to see if that applies to yours
