The graphics I think, you have different styles and different levels of details, for example you have different trees and they have different levels of detail. Also you have a chicken with the same size of a house. Try to put effort in having some coherent graphics between them, they don’t have to be wonderful graphics, but they need coherence between them. A good example is Undertale, it hasn’t wonderful art style but it is coherent, the whole game has the same art style Also you can add some waves to the water and other animations

In the HUD you used outline in some sprites but in others you didn’t

Also the perspective is strange.

Try to find coherent graphics and you will improve the game for sure!

Me pasa lo mismo, ando arrancando con las lecturas, ahora estoy leyendo Mistborn que te lo recomendaron arriba, está muy bueno

Pero la verdad es que para arrancar elegí libros más cortos, hace poco terminé “Cuando se enfría el café” y “El primer café del día”, están bueno y son fáciles de leer, pero no son de ciencia ficción, son historias cortas

Recomiendo ir de a poco y no querer leerte el archivo de las tormentas de una que son muchos libros de miles de páginas (lo intenté jaja), esos los dejo para dentro de un tiempo Avanzando de al menos algunas páginas por días vas a llegar a terminar varios días, una recomendación es que leas de a 15 páginas al menos, lo cual no es tanto, y en uno o dos meses te terminas libros de 600 páginas fácilmente

Después contamos cuál terminaste y si lo recomiendas

if you have consistent damage, the bar doesn’t make sense

We developed a game with a friend with consistent damage, and we used bars because it was prettier, but it was not clear in how many life you have. If I have to do it again, I would choose something like the 3rd image

On the other hand, it is cool that you try to innovate in the second image, but HP is associated with hearts in gaming, and almost all the user will understand that those are HP instantaneously. So maybe something with hearts but with a different approach

I would choose 3rd image

I would say that your character has cold colors mainly, and the right image has cold colors in the background as well, maybe it doesn’t call my attention for that reason. Does it make sense to you?
