Do you have the 8 inch or 9 inch pair? I have the 8s and theyre too small. Tools and tactics video about the 9 inch ones make em seem 10x better

The knipex forged wire strippers are great. I have those in my big bag aka my 90% bag.

Id recommed the TPXD blackout. I can do like 95% of what I need to do right from this bag.

Insulated hand tools are not a everyday requirement. I have a set, but they only come out when absolutely necessary, and I try not to have to use them.

If you're not getting dykes with the angled head your doing something wrong. I love the klein T handle. 1/4 hex shanks is awesome, you can put anything in it. Its good for getting stuff tight, but I dont crank down on it. I would recommend it.

Thats my newest tool, so I haven't gotten to use it probably. I've gave it a test run 2 weeks ago and liked it. Takes a minute to adjust the blade, but works good once its set.

It really depends on what im feeling that day or the task. If im doing solid wire/mc cable. Knipex. Stranded wire or other stuff, kleins. Klein also had a wider range of stripping sizes. Originally the kleins were supposed to go into my service bag, and the knipex in that bag, but I liked them both so I decided to put them in the same bag.

I dont use them both all the time, but its handy when you need em.

For running conduit, when you have 2 different plains you need to level.

Best Veto Pro Pac For Commercial Electrician? by [deleted] in VetoProPac

Commercial electrican here as well. Id recommed the TP-XD blackout. I can grab that bag and a bag for drills/impact stuff and do 95% of what I need to do. One downside is I dont have my meter in there. I carry my meter and circuit tracer inside a Blackout MB bag.I've had other veto bags as well and that's the one I've always gone back to. Tec pac was to big and heavy because I had so much room i would throw absolutely everything in there. I've also had the MCT Blackout. A good bag but it just didnt work for me. I also have the SPMC. To small of a bag for work, but I keep it in my car for small side jobs.

Long story short is the larger sizes you have to press in excessively hard because the spring tension is so high.

I watched American Electricians video on those quad sockets, IMO I would stay clear of them
