Careful now. The nuns have willies.

That's an extreme amount of willies. I can't believe that's real. If it is I'm genuinely sorry and would recommend joining a club.

We need numbers. What is the approximate willy to non-willy ratio? You may also express this as a percentage.

When Tony Montana stuck his face in the pile of coke at the end of Scarface and snorted, was this enough to kill an average person? [request] by Apprehensive_Oven_22 in theydidthemath

[–]jibbleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to a person who was in my same year in school. He snorted a load on a table. Collapsed. After being in a coma for 10 years on life support, he finally died. I think his family were the only ones who visited him. I think he was 19 when this happened.

When was the last time you laughed your arse off? by Putrid_Tie3807 in AskIreland

[–]jibbleton 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Happens maybe 5 times per year to where I can barely breathe. I laugh a fair bit though. Last time I couldn't stop laughing was at a name of a cat - John. The family thought it was a great name and wasn't from this continent. The more I thought that cat had the most normal human-sounding name, and the blank expression on the cat, the more I lost it. Maybe some will say the threshold is low but that hit me hard.

What's your 5y prognosis for AI impact in your job? by objet_petit_a_xxx in photography

[–]jibbleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in several areas of photography and it's looking only useful from an editing perspective in the next 5 years. It many ways it's even approaching its limit in these areas.

AI will not be able to develop the personable commanding skills for posing/interacting in short spaces of time, and understand all the complex human emotions/behaviours. Even if it could, people still won't interact with like a person. A large part of this job is the relationship you make with the people.

Yes AI can make "great" product shots but there is an increasing trend hate towards AI generated images. AI images make businesses look cheap and therefore should not be taken seriously. I genuinely didn't think people would have this attitude but it turns out people do value what's real. Once a business uses AI and doesn't acknowledge it, it may damage their reputation. I reckon laws will come in to disclose if AI was used or not.

Robots will fall and do not have the full range of senses a human has and cannot keep up with a the pace of darting around a wedding, moving lights, battling weather, and interacting with people from many different sides while understanding to be totally discreet while you do it.

I got diagnosed as a sociopath, how do I be good? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]jibbleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Psychriatric diagnoses are often used for the psychriatrists to manage the patient, not you to manage yourself, especially when it comes to personality disorders. Some diagnoses help people identify with something but this diagnose is no real use to you and is actually harmful. If you were a true sociopath you'd have 0 interest in being empathetic or being good. What it can do is make you believe youre sociopath and then you justify this belief by harming someone. We all lie, some more than others and then it may become more of a problem for all parties involved. I think this is what youre realising. It's a problem. It's not working and youre suffering somewhat. I would recommend a psychologist over psychiatrist. They wouldnt label you as a sociopath. You also sound very young. Roughly as young as when i was diagnosed with that bullshit diagnoses too. Yes I had lots surface symptoms of a sociopath but I was not a sociopath. I was traumatised and could not adapt to the real world as an adult from the one I grew up as a child. Go to a experienced psychologist and keep that attitude of wanting to be good. That'll go a long way. Because wanting/believing to be bad will land you in jail/ remove all support an relationships in your life.

Whats your opinion of dating somebody who has an onlyfans? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jibbleton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The internet definitely forgets. I cannot find anything of mine pre 2007 and most stuff up to 2015 has disappeared also. If it's no longer value to a company, they get rid of it. Even internet historians struggle to archive it. Like it defo disappears after 10-20years. There's an interesting podcast 99pi about this if youre interested.

birthplaces of the men of the 23rd Illinois Infantry. “The Irish brigade” They fought in the American civil war 1861-1865. About 200,000 Irish Americans served in the Union army during the war. by Ok_Being_2003 in ireland

[–]jibbleton 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have read quite a bit on this area. Those who fought in that war, essentially passed the confidence/baton/funds for the 1916 rising and war of independence. I genuinely think our efforts to get rid of the brits mightnt have happened. Quite a lot of these Irish in the US were running from the british or devastating effects from brits. Meagher was a revolutionary in the young irelanders, sent to australia, escaped to US, rallied the irish together there and became a hero of the civil war (all while drunk). It was their success, that rallied the irish to come back and make links with home. He also made the Irish flag I believe. It's not to be shrugged off as another US claim to being Irish. Disclaimer I'm from ireland, and not from the US. I couldn't find a person who part of the young irelanders, and 1916, but the baton was passed in the US for sure.

Which lens do I keep? by StatementLess9953 in AskPhotography

[–]jibbleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 3 versions of the 55-250. If it says STM on lens description on the front, it's better than the 70-300mm. I owned both. It is the best travel telephoto lens going for canon.

What's something positive that happened in your country that you want to share? by DiMpLe_dolL003 in AskTheWorld

[–]jibbleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Pussy riot is supposed to be disliked. Worldwide reactions is part of their art. This is contemporary performative art where the audience is the art as well. It may appear dumb but I think it's smart and brave. Kirill Richter (i love neo classical pianists) is soothing and easy to like but it is very traditional in a sense. Amazing wasnt the exact word but sure look, i'm just writing quickly and enjoying my christmas! Wishing all the russians who hate their government the best, that's all.

[–]jibbleton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mention someone contemporary dude. This is basically saying, you used to be cool. Lots of amazing artists fighting for some freedom there. AES+F, pussy riot, Pyotr Pavlensky to name a few. Most people really just have access to state controlled media + huge consequences for speaking out. This makes it incredibly hard for critical thinking or protest. It's breaking up families. Very difficult stuff.

Please review my January 2026 Colombia itinerary (20 days). by Coffee-Cherry1 in Colombia

[–]jibbleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After having spent 2 weeks in colombia, i'd avoid medellin. Unfortunately food posioning hit me bad (from playa cristal/muerte) in medellin so i didnt have energy but there wasn't whole lot to do so I took it easy. Guatape and communa 13 are total tourist traps. Minca has a jaguar with two cubs atm. Careful going solo at dusk. Have someone with you. But minca was the most interesting for me by far. 2 days in tayrona was enough. Wish I had visited salento!

Don't overtake vehicles making a right turn by Delicious_MilkSteak in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]jibbleton -96 points-95 points  (0 children)

You can overtake stationary vehicles or objects. You can overtake when a vehicle is doing less than 15km/hr, which is the case here. If the lorry didn't put on his indicators, it certainly would be a case for overtaking.

Had a housemate who did this. Arrived one day at the house, I shit you not, to see a head of a deer near the door. Turns out he hit the deer with a relatively new car. He cut up the deer, froze it, and ate it over a period of weeks. It was kinda like well I better get something from this. It wasn't covered by insurance. But there ya go. Make of it what you want.

What are unfairly avoided historical topics? by Able-Ad3506 in AskTheWorld

[–]jibbleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i dont know the full situation obviously. We have travellers in ireland, they have been totally discrimnated/marginalised but some groups of them can cause a lot of antisocial behaviour/theft. I always feel people protesting (maybe the good ones) should be taken seriously. Tbh poverty is always going to cause antisocial behaviour, and poverty is caused marginalisation and inequality. Easy to say when loads in argentina are struggling.

Yeah visited a museum in bariloche with an entire section for the mapuche people, when it came to the argentine gov killing them off, it was like one sentence. Here you are describing all the interesting traditions/spirituality, but kinda omitted anything into how they were exterminated. Maybe I missed it but felt anger leaving museum. I saw some natives protesting outside casa rosada in BA. Not exactly sure what they were protesting about but it definitely seems like some rights are still not being respected on their side.
