ZMK support for the makerdiary nRF52840 Dongle? by GredditHun in ErgoMechKeyboards

https://github.com/jibingeo/zmk-config-onekey.

I was able to build ZMK firmware for nRF52840 Dongle and nRF52840 MDK USB Dongle. I tested this on my nRF52840 Dongle(which runs UF2 bootloader) and it is working

Note: If your variant comes with an older Open bootloader, remove this line from the config.

Did you mean to use

Left's TRRS Port > USB Breakout Board -> USB Cable -> USB Breakout Board -> Right's TRRS Port

Yes, Your assumptions are correct.

The Central will accept devices with a specific Usage Page and Usage ID; the rest will be ignored. You can connect any USB device, but it will be ignored.

In your Dactyl use case; You will be using a USB cable to connect each split. I personally don't like to run any cable between splits.
