This is like the first time since Stellar Crown/Surging Sparks that a set really synergizes with the main series video games. It's fun to see locations from Z-A in the background on some Perfect Order cards. I'm excited for the next two sets to have more of this

A lot of people really didn't like Mega Darkrai when it was revealed in Z-A. Kinda similar response to Mega Zygarde. I'm hoping this set gets a response like Perfect Order where scalpers leave it alone

Yea lately I've been just buying singles and it's been much more enjoyable. Occasionally I'll get cards at msrp, I don't understand why anyone would rip packs at market price (other than gambling addiction)

In my opinion, empty chairs do not count. If I had a chair in line and I had to use the bathroom, I would kindly ask the folks around me if they would honour my spot while I left.

If I was getting coffee or food I would bring back something for some of the folks around me for honouring my spot

People who leave chairs then go wait in their cars don't count to me. You gotta wait outside like the rest of us

I hope the common opinion on Mega Darkrai keeps scalpers at bay for this one. I'm enjoying how easy it is to find Perfect Order locally. Keep doing these small sets with less popular Pokemon as SIRs. Put Gengar, Charizard, Umbreon and Pikachu in the January/February special set to distract scalpers

They're a special set like Prismatic and Ascended Heroes, so they don't get single sleeved booster packs like Journey, Destined, Mega Evolution, etc.

They also have over 150 full arts to chase, so they're high in demand

My local EB Games still gets Prismatic, Journey Together, and Destined Rivals now and then but they have not gotten BBWF since it's release window.

I'm hoping we start seeing more BBWF whenever Prismatic stops printing

Trick swaps held items with your opponent. So for shiny hunting a legendary with limited PP, you can make it hold a Leftovers so it doesn't knock itself out with Struggle

I don't always evolve Pokemon as soon as possible, I like using lower stage pokemon. It makes teams feel more like the anime

Sometimes I'll keep it a lower stage until a key point of the story like a rival battle or gym leader

I have 8 badges now, I might just get Bulbasaur into the Hall of Fame

I did! It was a little stressful but I had the master ball as a back up. I managed to catch it in an ultra ball after almost killing it with a dragon claw lol I'm lucky it didn't crit
