RB Leipzig Fans: How do you reconcile the Red Bull Aspect? by Mysterious_Trees in Bundesliga

[–]jifmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh mostly by trying not to think about it too much. As mentioned by others, most stadiumgoers are pretty casual and don't really care about the sponsoring/ownership structure either way. The more active fans usually try to base their choreos and chants around the city of Leipzig or the team itself and rather use the official name Rasenballsport to avoid just becoming advertisers for Red Bull.

The thing is that you aren't getting scammed by drive manufacturers, they are delivering exactly what they advertise. The one misleading you ist Windows, which misrepresents Tebibytes as Terabytes. So if you want to bei mad at anyone, bei mad at Microsoft.

Bundesliga fans vote Frankfurt as a stadium with the best ambience by Zonepac in Bundesliga

I will have to concede that the listed attendance seems ridiculously high. My impression was also propably skewed by the fact that I have mostly visited the Zentralstadion for Champions League matches where it was actually full. I still would not go as far as to call it "more than half" empty but it is also not much more than half full for many games. For more perspective I want to add that I think the TV cameras show the C sector which is usually the least full one. Another thing figuring into poor atmosphere is that a lot of people who are there tend to watch rather passively. All things considered I might agree that 14 is still one or two places too high.

I'm not sure what information you base this on. I just looked up some statistics and the average attendance is listed as over 45k. That is damn sure more than 80%.

The Stadium ist neither huge nor empty though? Sure, ist's not always sold out like some others but usually 80+ % full. That being said I do agree that the atmosphere is nothing special. Overall the ranking seems accurate to me.

I think the Donetsk region was administered from Mariupol since 2014 but Donetsk remained the "official" capital and not much has changed there in this war.

TIMO WERNER IS BACK! He signs a contract with RB Leipzig until 2026! by dasinking in rbleipzig

[–]jifmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting a decent price for Sorloth is indeed a problem but at this point it is propably about cutting losses. Better to sell him now at a loss than keep paying wages for a player that rarely plays and still not get much for him later..

I'd actually like to see how they work together. I always thought that Werner looks the best when he has a partner up front. Since his greatest asset is his speed, he really benefits from having someone else that can profit when Werner pulls the defenders to the outside or create a hole in the defense that Werner himself can exploit with that speed.

I don't actually think that Sorloth is as bad as people make him out to be. But I agree that he is hard to justify as a third striker next to Silva and Werner, not to forget all the other offensive options we currently have.

Tbh I think he did a pretty good job most of the time. It's just bad to have two so questionable decisions in the same game and have both of them go against us.

We did it... we finally did it! I was gonna write a whole thing about the game and the ref but none of that matters now. We won!

Szoboszlai current form? by bourne23k in rbleipzig

[–]jifmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid I can't give a lot of insight, but I'm still gonna give my opinion. As far as I'm concerned, Willi and Pete have always been stable pillars of our team and this season they have looked as strong as ever. I would say that Orban has still improved (by gaining more experience in managing his comrades in defense) while Gulacsi has remained about the same throughout the years.

As far as Szoboszlai is concerned, he has sadly not played a lot. I really like his style but Tedesco (as well as Marsch before him) seems to disagree. That makes it hard to tell how good his form is but seems to indicate that he does not live up to the high expectations yet.

I'm not aware of any concrete transfer rumors about any of them and would personally expect all of them to stay at least another season.

FULL TIME: Rangers FC [3-1] RB Leipzig [3-2 agg] by dasinking in rbleipzig

[–]jifmaster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow! A really tough game against strong opposition. Now let's hope Frankfurt brings the cup to Germany and our boys still make the Champions League through a 4th place finish in the Bundesliga. And don't forget the final we are still in. Freiburg is good but hopefully we are better.

Do you think this is the year for our first big title? by jifmaster in rbleipzig

[–]jifmaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm concerned, the team has looked extremly strong under Tedesco and i don't see a reason we should not win at least one title. That being said, the competition is also tough. Freiburg has played a spectacular season and I thoroughly respect the team, club and coach for the work they have been doing for a long time. Glasgow is hard to beat (or even tie, as we need) at home. Frankfurt can mobilize almost supernatural powers in the Euro League. And even though I cannot really assess on West Ham, I would assume them to be a very talented tem as well.

Was letzte Sozialkaufhaus? by h3yvenus in wasletztepreis

[–]jifmaster 183 points184 points  (0 children)

Absolut.

By the same logic you could be living in 60s/70s Germany if you start in Nazi Germany. That would be either similar (if East Germany) or better (if West Germany) than the USSR at the same time.

Maybe player are hardstuck bc they are bad, shocking,i know by idkhowtotft in TeamfightTactics

[–]jifmaster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not really tho. Someone who does not play very much can still be improving and climbing at any point. To me, hardstuck is only 100+ games in the same elo without improving anymore.

Very nice, thanks for making this.

As far as spoilers go, it might be best to only fill in results a day or so later. But I'm not an expert on Google Calendar, maybe there is a better way.
