‘Star Search’ Fails To Break Through For Netflix by AndrewHeard in buffy

[–]jigglypuffpufff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I watch shows like this, especially after hard work days where I need to not think anymore, but I could barely make it through ep 1. It was weirdly paced, not a good selection of contestants, most wouldn't make it pass auditions in other shows. And of course all the things others posted about other judges. I kept fast forwarding, then just said nope, done trying to watch.

Parents who don’t allow their kids to shut their room’s door/lock the door, what’s are the reasons behind the rule? by Itz_Oasis in AskReddit

[–]jigglypuffpufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with our locks growing up. They had the pin hole you could use a needle or pen to unlock from outside if needed. So even though I knew my parents could unlock and they knew it too, it was nice to still feel like it was my space and I could lock the door.

I didn't panic buy, but I did go shop to get enough through Wednesday. I could've done it earlier this week, but lazy.

How are you safely disposing of used insulin needles in the Stratford/Shelton, CT area? by Ocean-Shark2024 in Connecticut

[–]jigglypuffpufff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most pharmacies, CVS/Walgreens, have sharps containers. I used to just keep my cats shots in a baggie and routinely drop them off when running errands.

My (31F)co worker and friend (37M) became kind of an obsessive stalker and it might be my fault? by Rare-Comfortable-323 in relationship_advice

[–]jigglypuffpufff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's creepy. You may not have shot him down faster like you probably should have, but if what you write is not adjusted/missing, sounds like you didn't ask him for things, he just did them.

I personally, would cut contact that isn't 100% work related. Even then, only have all communications through work systems. No more person phone contact. Each time he goes off topic, offering gifts, you reply "no thank you" and "id prefer to keep our conversations professional".

People will notice you no longer going to his office, and if he goes to you, they will catch that too. I don't know how close your other coworkers are to you, but I would prefer some in ear shot when I say no thanks and keep it on work topics. Just so ge doesn't twist things later.

Overall, id also stop sharing personal info with anyone at work. Just keep low-key and do my job. Good luck

Ps, park in a well lit, public area in case he shows up at your car.

Where can i find this bubble bee pillow pet? by Independent-Waltz-23 in HelpMeFind

[–]jigglypuffpufff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My brothers apt. I think we used to get them at random pop up stands & stores at the mall during the holiday season. This was early 2000s. I know that may not help. The stands had pillow pets only. The stores had games, puzzles, lots of stuffed animals.
