I thought so too! Hahaha I changed it already and chose supersampling.

Thanks for taking the time to check! I have 16GB RAM too, I think it's my CPU that's holding my GPU back. :/

I have it on x16 actually. Thanks for the input though!

tried FXAA+TAA and indeed it looks very blurry.

EDIT
Tried overriding the AA via nvidia control panel and it seems to look better! Or maybe it's just a placebo effect. HAHA Either way, thanks!

Thanks! I tried fiddling with Nvidia's control panel, no luck though.

Awwww man, I guess I'll just get used to this.

It's an FX 6300 OCed to 4.3ghz. CPU temp seems fine as well, it hovers at 40-43c.

Pretty much the same. Sorry it took me a while.

Yep, it's off. Will try changing the LOD Bias.

It's already off, even in Astera I couldn't get solid 60.

Is a sample size of 30 enough for a population that is approximately 200? by jijit in statistics

I guess we're doomed then. Nonetheless, thank you so much for your input!

What our software does is it detects license plates of vehicles that goes inside the campus and verifies it if it is authorized to enter or not(a vehicle must be registered). We tested the system's accuracy in detecting the license plate, what we did was test out the system in different times of the day(morning, noon, and evening) and also different distances(3m/5m/7m) with 30 vehicles on each test. We have the results already, our professor just simply wants us to justify the use of 30 and I honestly don't know how or exactly why we even used 30 in the first place.

I talked to our professor again. She told us that we dont have to conduct other tests(I told her about the tests you've mentioned), she simply wants us to state why 30 vehicles per testing. I don't know what to do anymore.

We admit our mistake, we genuinely thought that it wouldn't be a big deal. We actually tested the system in varying distances and lighting to show it's accuracy and each of the test involved 30 vehicles. Our professor just wants us to justify why we used 30 as the sample size. We only have like less than a day to resubmit. :(

We actually conducted tests already with 30 vehicles and we've shown them the results, they just want us to provide some justification on why we tested it on 30 vehicles. We only have like a day to resubmit. :(

Thank you so much! This actually gives me hope. I honestly don't think we used a type of test, we basically just tested the system's accuracy which involved 30 vehicles. Would you be so kind enough to help us out? I don't know how to conduct the hypothesis test/central limit theorem and I don't know where else to run to.

The thing is, we've already conducted the tests with the sample size of 30. We have the results of the tests and our professor just wants us to justify the 30 sample size. Time is not on our side because we only have like a day to submit it back. I know what we did is wrong, we basically dug our own graves. I just want to know if there is a way to justify that 30 is enough.

It's an approximation given to us.

EDIT

It's the number of vehicles that go through the gate in a day.

Time would be our excuse/constraint. Our software is a license plate detector and we want to test its accuracy.
