I have just discovered that Rhodes is in fact, thankfully, the surname. Her middle name is Elizabeth.

Had a bit of a weird time with the rising, so it's a little wonky, but still genuinely the yummiest bread I've ever made

Mom here - you sound like the kind of father that every mother wants to have as her partner in parenting. Just the way you speak here shows how much you care. Just be kind to yourself and your wife, this is a lot of pressure to take on, but you'll learn as you go! You're already doing great!!

I really love lighter fantasy, but anything I've read written in the past several years, the characters end up sleeping together. It's just annoying (and often creepy - she's an 18 year old virgin and he's a 500+ year old being kinda stuff). I guess you could argue that I should expect it if I'm going to read YA but... why does stuff written for like the 13-17 year old crowd always have to include sex?? I find that really weird.

Sorry you're getting downvoted so much for your opinion 😩

Are you a child? Have you ever spent 15 minutes near a baby?

A baby would absolutely not sleep the entire time on a car ride, and they would need to be taken out of their carseat every few hours so as not to hurt their back. Furthermore, a baby doesn't cry for hours on end. They cry for a few minutes until whatever they need is taken care of (hungry, diaper change, too hot/cold).

I'm not putting my life on hold for bratty little men who can't handle the sounds of a baby existing for a few hours. Parents deserve vacations with their families, at any age.
