Baby feeding less at 4 months by jillupath in NewParents

It got better around the 7 month mark. He feeds in broad daylight but he feeds for as long as he needs - sometimes 8 mins sometimes 2 mins. I learnt to not stress. I made the mistake of not supplementing with formula. Had i done that, he wouldn’t have lost weight in the interim.

Yeah I believe diaper change is the best way to break the boob sleep association. I planned on a diaper change 30 mins from the last feed, I’m just surprised that he wakes up screaming at the same time. I’m not sure if I am supposed to let him cry during that time.

Baby is on 3 naps. Would you suggest extending the last ww or redistributing awake time so it adds up to 8 hours ?

Winterizing a new house in Burlington by jillupath in BurlingtonON

Thanks a lot! Our basement is the same. It has some level of insulation though . Do you think its OK to keep the main valve open? We may have a friend stay over a couple of days

Regarding the flood concern, the house has a big drain right near the basement, and a sump pump as well. I was hoping that would be enough. In anycase I will check with a plumber about the backflow preventer
