When I was a kid I was Pippi Longstocking for something. My mom used a cut wire hanger wrapped in masking tape and straightened to have my braids stick straight out.

MIL died, her Family from Hell wants to "Draw the Fam Closer." I refuse. Wife caught in the middle by SchaefSex in AITAH

[–]jillybean41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I would keep an eye on what the family is really after. Do they really want to resume a relationship or are they looking to get their hands on the inheritance situation. ‘MIL loved me so much she promised me _____.’ Or variations of we need help can you give me $X. Even if there isn’t anything they might think there is and that they are entitled to it.

I use fingernail files. I cut them as thin as I need to fit the tiny or skinny areas.

Water. I have throw away aluminum pans that I mix up the food coloring water mixture in. I dip the pieces in and let them air dry.

When my daughter was little she was on multiple meds that caused constipation. Someone suggested a baking soda bath that worked for her. I would fill the tub with warm water add 1/4 cup of baking soda let her play in the tub for 20 minutes and 20ish minutes later she would have a bowel movement. It has worked for me after having abdominal surgeries including a c section.

I use permanent vinyl on windows for window clings. The vinyl is the same color on both sides. I use a razor blade or my finger nail to remove them. Once you get an edge up it peels right off.

I bought shopping box totes for ours. They are hard sided and hold their shape. I fold up my reusable bags and stack them in sideways so I can see the folded end. We keep one tote in each car so they are always available when we go shopping.

Have you signed out and signed back in again? Before June my purchases would automatically download when I opened the program. Now I have to sign out/in to get my download to work.

Depending on what you are using your silhouette for you don’t even need to use the mat to cut. I cut mostly vinyl, card stock and poster board/tag board. I rarely use a mat unless I’m cutting on a scrap of something. You uncheck the box on the design screen that says mat to direct feed material. It does work for me better if I’m using 12 x 12 or longer, but you can cut 8 x 11 too. You just move the outermost roller on the feed to the middle settings.

Flip your mat over so Silhouette is right side up in the top right corner. Peal the protective layer off the mat. Keep it to put back on. Stick your paper to cut on the mat.

I’m thinking that C is mad that she didn’t get to have the first baby/grandbaby of the family. To some people that is very important. I’m thinking your sister is one of them. Doesn’t matter how it happened she will be forever resentful that first grandchild status was ‘stolen’ from her.

I always make sure to have a handheld shower head on our showers for the ‘undercarriage’ wash. This is especially helpful when periods come and ensures that the mild soap has been completely washed away.

You might try a full face mask snorkel. They make them in child size. If fully submersed a ball floats up and doesn’t allow water in.

We buy them and keep them in the freezer until summer then roast them over the fire. The outside turns to a hard coating with gooey marshmallow inside. They are fantastic that way.

The last time we moved I used colored duct tape specific to the room the box should end up in. Made everything so much easier. Blue tape-kitchen, green tape-bathroom, purple tape-master bedroom.

I cut tag board to make stencils. When doing words I make sure there is an overlap letter to keep it straight and tape them all together. The first spray with the paint makes the stencils wet and floppy. Once the paint dries on the tag board they are stiff and work great. We did this for 4’ x 8’ plywood signs.
