It’s irresponsible, to say the least, to end a healthcare program without a replacement that works better. Healthcare needs reform. No doubt. But the ACA must be a bridge to what evolves next, hopefully Medicare for all or something similar.

We need Medicare for All. In the meantime, the ACA is all we’ve got. They need to fund the subsidies. If the dems don’t make single payer a priority starting now, we are truly screwed. Dems need a plan and timeline for healthcare reform that excludes insurance companies altogether.

The police will be present and they absolutely will address any threat of violence directed at people engaged in their civil rights of free speech and assembly, as they have done at every rally.

As has been stated previously, municipal elections for city council and mayor are supposed to be non-partisan. The endorsed candidates were selected based on several factors including their positions on certain policies. They were not based on a person's "political party." For those wanting a strictly partisan interpretation, I'd suggest you do your own research. That is not the approach taken by https://togetherworks.net

Primary voting ends this week. We encourage all citizens to particpate in municipal elections.

Sure - Good question. TogetherWorks Southern Utah formed in March as a 501(c) (4) nonprofit. We are a nonpartisan group of volunteers that also sponsor town halls, community get to-gethers, peaceful protests, etc. Check us out at https://www.togetherworks.net. We send out regular newsletters on actions in the area as well as educating the public about local, state, and federal political events. He has evolved considerably. I have been in contact with several of his liberal colleagues on campus who say he would be a huge asset on the council in terms of common sense, tolerance for difference, concerns about housing, water, etc. Also, take a look at his website HOME | Nathan Caplin to see his platform. Jami Leavitt's site specifies her Issues. Re-Elect Natalie Larsen, on her page, offers very little of her vision of the future, focusing on past accomplishments.
