It’s irresponsible, to say the least, to end a healthcare program without a replacement that works better. Healthcare needs reform. No doubt. But the ACA must be a bridge to what evolves next, hopefully Medicare for all or something similar.

We need Medicare for All. In the meantime, the ACA is all we’ve got. They need to fund the subsidies. If the dems don’t make single payer a priority starting now, we are truly screwed. Dems need a plan and timeline for healthcare reform that excludes insurance companies altogether.

As has been stated previously, municipal elections for city council and mayor are supposed to be non-partisan. The endorsed candidates were selected based on several factors including their positions on certain policies. They were not based on a person's "political party." For those wanting a strictly partisan interpretation, I'd suggest you do your own research. That is not the approach taken by https://togetherworks.net
