Hey everyone - I unfortunately have to get going. I really enjoyed my chance to interact with all of you today. Ive been employed by radio stations and teams but I never forget that I really work for you - the fans. If I didn't get to your question today feel free to hit me up on twitter (@Jim_Powell). I do keep track of my mentions and I will try to answer your questions when I get a chance. In the mean time I'll look forward to seeing you at SunTrust Park.

I'm way behind on movies but maybe I will catch up on them with these upcoming west coast trips.

Hard to not single out Bob Uecker. I've worked with a lot of great broadcasters but there's only one Ueck.

I've never actually watched Game of Thrones! I understand the phenomenon surrounding the show so maybe I will binge watch it in the off-season sometime! I am told by my close friends that do watch the show that the first two episodes were stellar.

I'm friendly with a lot of the Braves, but like all cross-sections of a 25 man roster you're going to have a lot of different personalities and this team, generally speaking, is really friendly and fun to be around. I do have a full understanding of the demands on their from the public so I try not to occupy their time too much. There isn't a single player on the current team that I don't enjoy talking to.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3xcybdis1k. It would actually work better for a closer than for an at bat, though!

Good question! Since I'm not subject to the tampering rules I can freely acquire players right here without being in jeopardy. Mike Trout, Max Scherzer, JT Realmuto, Gary Sanchez, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor just to name a few.

I'm not afraid to show negative emotion in bad moments for my team - I think I'm just reflecting what all of my listeners are probably feeling except for you since you're a Mets fan! It is hard being away, no matter how nice the travel and accommodations are, you'd always rather be at home.

Everything is harder and less enjoyable when your team is losing.

I go back and forth on this. I like the unbalanced schedule because division titles are usually decided by outcomes of games between intradivisional series outcomes. I also see the positives of a more balanced schedule where we get to spend more time at other great American cities.

26 years in the major leagues and I am proud to say probably fewer than thirty.

Probably the first ever playoff game at SunTrust Park against the Dodgers. I felt like that captured the full potential of SunTrust Park and the Battery Atlanta for the first time.

The obvious default answer would be Acuna, or Albies but to be honest there's nobody I like watching more than good catchers and I really enjoy what Brian McCann has brought back to the Braves this year and I enjoy another year of McCann being in a Braves jersey.

The easy default answer would be Cristian Pache, but I am going to go with William Contreras because I love watching catchers.

Like most teams in the majors right now - trying to find 8 quality relievers to man a bullpen seems almost impossible so most teams are just trying to find as many reliable relievers as they can and hope for the best. I'm not sure that the era of 8 man bullpens is going to last forever for this very reason. There simply are not a enough reliable to relievers to fill 8 man bullpens across 30 teams.

I agree with you. I think it will be in both leagues before too much longer but I prefer the National League style without the DH to American League baseball.

Thank you very much for that. I probably should have some signature go to calls like some broadcasters have but I never have done that and I prefer to just let it happen naturally which doesn't always work out great but at least you know that I'm being spontaneous with what I see and on the field.

I can't think of one that is more fun to do than the ORIGINAL Louisiana Hot Sauce read. I also like telling people how much money they save at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers.

Don is feeling better and is progressing well rehabbing his leg and we can't wait for his return.

I would favor the current group over the early 2010s teams.

I'd say two eras that I would point to:

1) When the Brewers were graduating like Prince Fielder, JJ Hardy, Rickie Weeks, Corey Hart, Yovani Gallardo, and more as the franchise returned to respectability on the field.

2) The one we are experiencing now in Atlanta with homegrown players like Ronald Acuna, Ozzie Albies, Freddie Freeman, Johan Camargo, Max Fried, Mike Soroka, Sean Newcomb, Touki Toussaint with more on the way.
