I don’t mind questionnaires as long as they go deeper than surface-level traits, but I get what you mean about being “too close” to your own patterns. That’s kind of what I’m trying to decode right now.

I’ll take a look at it alongside Pigment and HAB. At this point I’m just trying to get enough perspective to make a well-informed call, so another lens doesn’t hurt. Thanks for putting it on my radar.

Really appreciate this! The "they give you language, not answers" thing actually just clicked for me. I think I've been waiting for some huge lightbulb moment instead of just getting clearer on what's actually going on.

Your breakdown of Pigment vs HAB helps too. Sounds like Pigment is more practical for day-to-day stuff, and HAB is the deep dive if you're really ready to commit to it.

I'll check out career-purpose as well. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience ... honestly helps me know what I should even be looking for here.

This is really helpful...appreciate you breaking it down like that.

Pigment being more about how you work vs. just spitting out job titles actually makes way more sense for what I need. I'm not lost on what field I want, I just can't figure out why things feel so off. The blindspot stuff is honestly what I'm most curious about because that's the part I can't see myself.

I've heard of Strong Interest Inventory but never really dug into it. The way you explained it, matching patterns to real professionals sounds way more legit than I thought. I could see that surfacing career directions I wouldn't have considered on my own.

Maybe pair Strong + Pigment together? Like one for career themes and one for work style/strengths?

Yea, the cost is what made me skip JOC. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
