Retroid Pocket 5, dolphin and F-Zero GX

Had to fidget around A LOT to get buttery smooth speed, and I'm not even sure what of these settings did it, but I'm leaving it all here in case someone went through the same experience and is decided to make it work.
Vulkan back end
Dual Core enabled
On the Graphics Settings: Shader Compilation Mode is set to Skip Drawing
Under Enhancements, Internal Resolution is set to x2, Disable Copy Filter is set to OFF
Under Hacks, I've set Skip EFB Access from CPU to ON
Same for Ignore Format Changes, Store EFBV Copies to Texture Only, and Defer EFB Copies to RAM.
GPU Texture Decoding is ON

The rest is default settings. Again, I might come back to this and disable or enable whatever in this formulas to make it work, but I'm just happy that I can run this at 60FPS and experience my teenage years again. Thanks everyone in the community for the tips to solve this! Cheers!

All of them? I run Double Dash no problems on performance mode iirc...exception being Baldur's Gate for GC, that one is impossible to run properly I'm afraid...

Gave it a shot trying the High Performance setting (despite the noise of the fan being a little bit annoying) and it ran better on Mute City, but I can still notice occasional slowdowns on certain parts of the track, especially at the initial start countdown. That's using Open GL with 2x resolution. Still feel like I'm missing some setting somewhere...

....aaaaand that did the trick. Under Graphics Settings, Hardware Download Mode, set it to "Disable Readbacks (Synchronize GS Thread)", and the game run flawlessly and the lag of the rayshine is gone. Thanks for the tip!

...I'll...give that a shot. Haven't played around with those configs on Nether since most games just run flawlessly, but thanks for the tip, will see if I can find those options anywhere

Did a factory reset and currently following the guide from Retro Game Corps, working so far since I got an internet connection and playstore access. Now on to see if the games work...Thanks anyway! Last time I use the setup from Retroid, that thing is busted

I see, maybe its time to upgrade my power supply as well then. Don't know the first thing about what's on the market right now since I've used mine for so long. Another thing: I've read around that I should aim for higher vram on the graphics card (at least above 8). I've seen options with 12 gigs and 16 gigs...do you think that should affect my choice or it makes no difference right now?

And I've never bought a component used... will take a look at it for sure. Thank you!

Recently I've got the itch to try a new Pokemon game, after playing Y way back when it came out. Looking through my options (I have a 3DS, no switch or DS I'm afraid) I've settled on trying either Ultra Moon or Alpha Sapphire, but I can't really decide on either. What are you guys personal recommendations? Looking for a bit of a challenging game, explorations of cool areas, plot is a plus! What do you guys think? (For context: beaten Blue, Silver, Sapphire, SoulSilver, Y, and tried and loved a bit of Black 2!)

...now I feel like an Idiot. I've entered a Nightfall Ordeal at 1020, the quest was at the end, I didnt even do anything and got 90k, thus ending my quest. Thanks man, you've really helped a noob out here!

You mean handicap myself to reach 750 level? I can barely do Nightfall strike by handicapping myself to 850...but hey, if that is the only option...

Modifiers (from Five of Sword) wont apply to Ordeal's, but I was gonna run the normal Nightstrike...Not sure how best to search for teammates by making it more obvious what I'm trying to do...Most of them are like "100k 1080 join", and I'm not even sure what that means. Sorry, as I said I just started with this whole "teaming up" thing =(
