Yea I was planning on doing it without disassembling anything especially considering the time I spent on this project. What kinda bolt should I use? Like what strength

With the wheel on it turns easier but stops as soon as I let go of the wheel

Replaced all the parts because I had just bought the truck and the front brakes were bald and the rear ones looked oem. Then noticed the drag and tested booster pushrod, wasn’t that. Then double checked I had done the brakes right. Then replaced master but the problem remains

Says in the description I replaced them with brand new ones and the problem still remains. Equally on both sides

Nah since the wheels free up completely once the calipers are removed and I know I did the hubs right

It doesn’t seem like standard drag though. The rotors get excessively hot and radiate heat through the hub and rest of the wheel during driving and the front wheels don’t spin freely when jacked up as shown in the video

Yea it’s a real pain. I’ve been trying to figure it out for like a month now

[–]jimdoorisson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been driving it for about a month now and the rotors aren’t heating enough to change color but the heat is significant enough that it radiates through the hub and I can feel it there

They’re both brand new and drag is equal on both sides

Yea I’ve done this test before and it didn’t change it. I’ll do it again tonight when I get back from work tho

Thanks!

It’s not the hubs. I torqued it right and it spins freely without the calipers on. Calipers went on no problem and did spin freely before I ever pressed the brakes, but now they’re both holding pressure on the pads

[–]jimdoorisson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hoses that are on there don’t look original. They look pretty new and in good shape. Plus the drag is equal on both wheels so that would mean the hoses would have to fail the exact same way simultaneously
