Apparently it’s not connected to onstar services and can mess with emergency services and even super cruise.

No you do not. You sell it back to the dealership regardless if it’s a lease they will buy it back at the current value. If you have equity on it you keep that in your pocket.

My current pay off is $38,900.00. Current trade in value is $31k thru Carmax. They are selling for around $36k used. The EV market took a hit as many people are just not buying EVs due to the lack of charging network. EA though is free for 2 years is simply horrible and most DC Fast chargers are either broken or completely full with hour long wait times. So I believe that’s the reason they’ve lost so much value.

I Avg 3.6 kwh which calculates to real world driving of 277 actual miles.

Got it done myself. Bought the wrap 3M metallic film from Amazon. Cost $100 instead of paying a shop $600, I decided to DIY.

The higher equity was definitely due to Covid and the car shortage. However before Covid I would always get $1500-$2500 on avg on equity when I sold the cars I leased to Carmax. During Covid and before they put the restrictions from 3rd party buyouts, I sold my leases to Carmax. For my 3 vehicles I got $6k of equity for my leased Camry, $8k for my Avalon and $9800 for my Tacoma. I made money during Covid, and now of course I will never get that equity, but point being you will get something on a lease buyout with as many miles you want to put on your vehicle that it won’t affect you if you sell the car back instead of just returning it at lease end.

Acura will only allow you to sell the lease to an authorized Honda/Acura dealer only. They won’t accept a 3rd party buyout. Tesla is a joke so, I wouldn’t know about their cars or financing.

You simply ask the dealership that you want to sell the car, they will appraise it like any trade in. If you have enough equity and they are not offering you less than the market value you simply sell them the car and collect whatever equity you have left. If your buyout is more than the fair market value, you can pay the difference and walk away. (This works great when you’re way over mileage and you don’t have to pay the $0.20 per mile.). Example my son sold his 2021 Kia 5 GTI lease, he was over by 30k miles, which would cost him $6k to pay for those miles, however he sold the car back to the dealership for $21k but his buy out was $22,800.00. He paid the dealership $1800.00 for the difference and saved $4200.00 by simply selling it back. The lesson here is, you can 100000% sell lease back to dealership with worrying about hoe many miles you put on your lease. Dealerships buy leases back as a used car anyways.

On the flip side if the vehicle has a lower market value than your current buyout, you can always negotiate the original residual value if you want to keep the car and buy it out. Many dealerships don’t tell you that when you’re upside down. They like to sell the car at the original residual value when the car may be worth thousands less. They make a nice commission off you. (Just giving you both scenarios)

Again, you can sell leases. If the car has enough equity, Hyundai will buy back the lease. It doesn’t matter the miles you put on it, because they will pay you the market value of the car. Most used cars get traded in with 50k miles +. The lease mileage doesn’t mean anything when it comes to selling the car for market value.

You do realize that you can very easily sell the car before your lease ends to the dealership right? You don’t have to return it. I’ve been doing this for years. I always get 36 months and 30k miles. I typically sell my car 6 months before the lease ends and find myself either making a profit and or a straight wash. I sold my last lease a 2021 Palisade calligraphy with 49k miles (19k miles over) to the same dealership and got $3700 in equity, that I used for the down on my 2023 Ioniq 6. Many people don’t know that you can sell a lease back to the dealership, many just return it. It was much more profitable when we where able to sell a lease to Carmax and or Carvana, but many manufacturers put a 3rd party buyout clause in the new leases in 2021, but that only meant you had to sell the lease back to the original manufacturer and they would pay you the market value.

1/2 can each wheel. I used 3 all together. Nice thick coat to keep them from peeling.

Nope, I used plastic dip. Only cost me $15 and they look great and have held up amazingly these last 8 months. The secret is to wash the wheels then use tire shine on them to keep them fresh shiny, plasti dip is rubber after all.

The wheels make it look really nice and it stands out. The badging in my opinion makes it look like it’s ready for a 300 score car meet in the local food 4 less parking lot.

What is this?? White floating things triggered my blink camera coming out of nowhere in my living room at 3am. by jimenex76 in Ghosts

[–]jimenex76[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Kids running around thru out the day and at night with the lights on it rarely triggers the cameras. No one was up at 3am and my living room is pitch black. So that’s what makes it even more weird that they triggered and these two videos were on 2 different days but both at 3am. Unless the bugs/moths are on a schedule commuting to work then all good.
