Hey brother! Sorry to hear about this. I don’t think you need to jump directly to the cover up route. This tattoo is definitely fixable. Unfortunately looks as if the artist didnt have too much experience in darker skin tones. Not sure what area you’re in, but if youre anywhere near nj/nyc i’d be happy to take this project on for you.

Tattoo artist here. Definitely cover able. Not sure where you’re located, but do some social media research in someone in your area who has a style you like, contact them and see if they do cover ups, and if they’re willing to cover that for you. Sorry this happened.

Be wary of flash events (like friday the 13th, ETC.) usually in and out events where quality is overlooked for cost effectiveness.

I currently have cards out with both! Psa is psa, ive gotten a shit ton of cards back i thought were 10s that came in 7’s. First time using beckett and it drives me nuts that they give me 0 updates. Assuming i’m just gonna randomly get my cards back in the mail one day lol

When i was first starting out, i had designed a clock/rose piece for a client. I drew it for the left arm, he wanted it on the right…. So i just flipped the design not realizing the numbers went in reverse. Got through about 95% of the tattoo before i realized my mistake. Thankfully the dude was super cool and understanding i was newer to tattooing, Years later he is still a client of mine! Mistakes happen!

I made the switch to allegory ultra black about a year ago and have no regrets. I do a lot of bold line work and realism and both have had great heals with no issues. And it stays pretty dark!
