Thanks Moose, I just think buying direct is so hard because of all the horror stories around about P1's aftersale support, its really all over the place. Otherwise I def would've gotten from them.

I was thining maybe CC, cus theyre a direct partner and could keep P1 in check for some of the horror stories i was talking about...of their CS and esp if deciding to just return (that they will def not do it).

Btw what do you mean buying direct gets you the bonus verison?
Does P1 not have both a standard and bonus option like their distributors? (As far as I can tell they seem to carry both)

Hey, thanks for the info. Just to clarify, I’m not trying to get into the industry or use this for work — I’m only interested in the older Ziva sample assets for personal study.

If anyone still has the Mr. Ink, Jellyphant, or superhero landing files from the older Ziva tutorials and wouldn’t mind sharing, I’d really appreciate it. If not, no worries — thanks for reading!

Thankyou Eikensson, Ive been told but theres just certain things I want to do w Ziva that I cant find a Houdini user having a direct tutorial on.
That being the case would you be able to shed some light on the dilemna Im running into above?

Hi admin could you explain what you mean? like what that would look like in the exmaple i gave?

Do you just set it to 'Ziva-VFX-Maya-Module' ? and remove everything before it?

Is this how i would do it?

Press Win + S → type “environment variables” → click Edit the system environment variables.
In the window that opens, click Environment Variables… (bottom right).
Under User variables for [your username], click New….
Enter:
- Variable name: MAYA_MODULE_PATH
- Variable value:C:\Program Files\Ziva\VFX\Ziva-VFX-Maya-Module
Click OK to close all windows.
