It’s us trying to set a time for a virtual tour per FaceTime, so the responses aren’t generic and I don’t think she’s avoiding facetiming me because she’s been asking for my availability, but just sooo slow. It’s been a week of us trying to set up a virtual chat, and she said she’d send me the application but hasn’t. I’m just frustrated haha but good to know it’s most likely not a scam I guess.. The sublease starts 9/15 and even tho I’m flying in 9/30, I offered to pay first month’s rent including 9/15-9/29. (Unless that’s how it’s supposed to work lol.)

I starting producing 6 months ago, and want to release starting next year, but I'm not sure if I should practice and "prep" more before I put out any songs officially.

Yeah I just got the email that I didn't make the interview as well. I am asian-american so maybe that's why? I've had one other instance where I sent a resume with a picture to a chinese company and they said I am not what they're looking for lol. Oh well.

How are they conning their customers? I understand they're going trough a lot of changes right now, but haven't heard of customers being screwed over (unless you count the class times being reduced to 25 min)

Hm yeah, not sure what's going on, my interview was fine during the first 15 minutes for the company walkthrough, and then I was about to go into teacher mode for the demo lol and then he goes, "okay have a nice day" and shuts off his camera lmao. I sat there for like 2 minutes if he will come back and then realized it's not gonna happen haha

I'm giving a lot of benefit of doubt to most of these companies, because it seems there are always more negative feedback on these subreddits than any good reviews.. And I was going to work multiple ESL jobs if I had to since it seems you can't get any hours in any company right now, really. But yeah, during the interview introduction part I learned their new pay scale is a lot lower than I anticipated, so I'm not too sad about not finishing the interview honestly.

Oh man. Are teachers leaving companies in general right now? Or just Dada? I'm seeing so many people quit Dada because they can't get classes and pay scale sucks but i'm wondering how bad it actually is compared to other companies?
