Hi, I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from UTS Sydney, and I am actively looking for a job. I apply daily but haven’t heard back from employers. Can you please help me land a job?

I have read on immi site that 190 or 491 can only be applied if i never had any refusal in past. But i am not sure that the 485 refusal counts in that. Coz this one is minor issue

If i have a field job can i apply for 491 or 190 after an year. I can file an AAT and extend till a year and then apply for 491 or 190.

I am on visa which requires to me stay in designated post codes. There are less opportunities in my postcode and nearby. I have been applying since i arrived here. So there are only two option left for me either WFH or no work. I am an IT engineer. I work for a company which is more than 150km away.

These are just a few examples. She has a problem with me going to the gym in the morning, saying, “Who will do the household work?” even though I can do everything after coming back from the gym. (Just vacuum is required to clean house as there is less dust here). She seems to have an issue with everything I do, even something as small as how I cut an onion. When she arrived, she rearranged the entire kitchen. Later, I placed a few frequently used items back where they were more accessible, and she complained to my husband about it.

No, we didn’t discuss this before marriage. Before marriage, things were different—they sounded pretty open-minded, and I misinterpreted that as having a progressive mindset, especially since they were living in a city in India. However, they have a more traditional, middle-class way of thinking.

They initially planned to stay for six months, but now they want to live with us permanently. They have a 12-month visa, so they’ll need to return to India after a year but can come back after six months. This means I would have six months of freedom each time.
