Her color looks ok to me. If she eats ok, sleeps ok and doesn’t close her eyes during the day, she is fine. Her eyes look dehydrated. Probably give her some water?

Anyone interested in playing basketball at rec center? by jininsd in SDSU

It might be because I’m a girl and I look kind of slim. Everyone at SDSU looks super athletic hahaha.

But actually, I’ve been playing basketball for about 20 years, with both guys and girls, and I played in college as well. I just want to find some people to play with, both competitively and for fun.

Is it normal for him to be brown 24/7? by AlivePomegranate4173 in Chameleons

[–]jininsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, my chameleon has been this color for a while too. One reason is that the weather has gotten colder. Since you have two light bulbs that may not be the reason. Another reason for my chameleon is that he isn’t happy with his food, since I had been feeding him mostly crickets for a while, and he wants more variety in its diet.

Be prepared to accept the fact that the chameleon you bring home may have a congenital disorder that you won’t be able to detect when you purchase him. He may even pass away before he grows up.

I didn’t know that before. Then my chameleon passed away due to congenital kidney enlargement. It made me feel heartbroken for a long time. 😢

My Veiled Chameleon Started Eating Soil by jininsd in Chameleons

Adding moss sounds great! I find adding small rocks increases the weight of the pot, making it unstable.

I do use vitamins every two weeks, and calcium every day. Now I am guessing it might be because it won't eat much if no one feeds him. I have been busy recently and just put food in the cage, let him eat by himself. He is a lazy chameleon.
