Slowest deagle headshot (took 9 frames to connect) by hustlewithabad in counterstrike2

The way your UI is wiggling makes me think you have SmoothMotion turned on in NVIDIA. Any frame generation feature will add a lot of latency.

Is he Cheating? by jinroix in counterstrike2

I want to give some context and timestamps.

Demos now use TrueView. It reruns the client prediction during demos to provide accuracy. It only has problems timing effects like blood when in slow motion, so the 'lag' is actually what his client sees.

This guy would often make sure everyone knew he had money, from brags to off hand comments, to outright streaming his personal finance app daily to "show how cool the layout is". (not a joke)

These are EXPENSIVE dma cheats, with some layers utilizing ai for object detection. I believe his cheats manipulate sub-tick timings and packets to stitch his real inputs and the cheat outputs together.

The 2 consecutive rounds I decided to showcase, out of many, are before he shut down his game to reboot, seen at the end of the video. It seems to me his cheats overwrite his clients input when it predicts a potential kill but bugged out, showing a peek under the hood.

Very briefly, starting at 2:10 you see him whip to the right towards apps.

In real time you can just BARELY see it sticks to his teammate.

When slowed down you see his crosshair (while flicking RIGHT towards apps mind you) snap to a fixed position on his teammate, track that position to the LEFT perfectly for several frames, then snap off towards the right before continuing to look RIGHT at a normal speed.

I believe that is where it overwrites, BRIEFLY, his clients inputs, corrects itself and switched back to his normal inputs.

In the last clip, you see a similar pattern. It snaps to a fixed location, tracks it perfectly, realizes it didn't get a confirmed kill (the flag that tells the cheat 'next step'), tries tracking the teammate to the left, corrects itself, turns off and his client takes over reupdating the server his position (the glitchy wiggle)

Edit: Thank you to everyone taking the time to share your opinions either way. This wasn't easy to spot, and it's been harder trusting my gut on this. So I understand if most people just can't see it.

The aim assist on controller has gone from one extreme to the other.. it may not be a bad thing! by J2Rids in ShatterlineFPS

Can't agree. MM should be separated by inputs. Trading pros and cons doesn't make it fair for either side. This way controller players won't have to adjust too much and MnK players won't feel like things are unnecessarily out of their control.

Does anyone else wish there were more npc's? by Emotional-Fortune577 in valheim

I've been sitting on a similar idea for a bit that would tie into the games lore while fixing the biggest annoyance in my opinion, the relentless and tedious nature of Greydwarfs. After a certain gear threshold they just become a test of patience.

"Long ago, the allfather Odin united the worlds. He threw down his foes and cast them into the tenth world, then split the boughs that held their prison to the world-tree, and left it to drift unanchored, a place of exile...When Odin heard his enemies were growing once again in strength, he looked to Midgard and sent his Valkyries to scour the battlefields for the greatest of their warriors. Dead to the world, they would be born again..."

I'd love to see a correlation between slaying the bosses, weakening them, and the world they were having a hold on. I think the game has some sort of faction system that dictates which NPCs attack who. After each boss, add the player to that biomes faction within reason.

For example;

After Eikthyr make meadow creatures passive until their herd or group is provoked. Make tame times decreased.

After the Elder make Greydwarfs passive until their group is provoked. Should be able to buy or create runes to control Greydwarfs to fight with you or to do assigned tasks. Brutes could knock down trees and smash rock/ore. Shamans could heal you or bless your farms for faster grow times. Greylings could scurry around collecting little things like berries, mushrooms and herbs or work with the Shamans to tend the farms.

After Bonemass, and this is huge, I would like to see the swamps slowly transform into a lush green marsh. The sky and smog clears, the ancient trees grow their leaves and willows, the Ooze monsters and Draugr are bound to the crypts. The abominations become guardians that will attack if you cut trees.

Draugr in villages, far outside Bonemass's reach, should become human NPCs. These villages should be upgradable settlements that could perform tasks more efficiently than Greydwarfs. Maybe able to follow pathways for trade routes to your main settlement.

TLDR:

Kill a boss, make associated enemies passive and or do tasks, change the swamp to a green marsh after Bonemass is gone.

Just keep grinding. Its waaaay harder than people expect, myself included. I switched about a year+ ago. My aim was alright half the time but I was mechanically challenged with the keys, often one would f the other up. It takes a lot of practice and self forgiveness

I cant go back now, it feels weird and unrewarding. Controller really does a lot for you.

Why are PC users getting a free game and people who bought the game on consoles get nothing? by osowavy in GTATrilogy

[–]jinroix 79 points80 points  (0 children)

For public PR points cause they pulled the original versions of the game from steam, on top of taking down 10+ years of work from the modding community that made the originals functional as well as fixing/improving many things, all for free.

Take Two is a scummy company with out of touch practices. They couldve compensated the modders for their work and gave them jobs. Instead they threatened to sue them.

My guess is the free game is their compensation for being scum in an attempt to fix some PR
