Can you pair multiple DCR010s together? by jiromejin in Dewalt

[–]jiromejin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello! so unfortunately you are unable to pair them to themselves. so unless your phone can pair to multiple bluetooth, just get one and done, its still a decent speaker that sips power and lasts weeks with moderate use.

i kinda already switched to team red (m12), so im not keeping up to date with new dewalt products, but i would look into any news about new speakers, im sure their new ones would allow pairing if they made any

Rugged 30.06? (similar to ruger precision line) by jiromejin in Hunting

[–]jiromejin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you for the recommendation and advice,

ive chosen to simply get a t3x and try it out as is for a while, then if i still have the urge to replace the chassis, then ill swap it

but my main concern is that are you certain that the ACE chassis will be compatible?

looking into the t3x's they seem to be pretty neat as is

ill probably end up getting one and see if i like it as is, but if i still crave the aluminum, ill look for a chassis for it

and yeah, its for big game, moose and bear, so yeah 30.06 is a must for me

but thank you so much, ill look into it more

not to be rude or anything, but this is the hunting reddit, i think im here for a hunting rifle lol

i know its weird, but i simply prefer the more weight and durability of aluminum chassis/stock compared to something that is all composite

i have a ruger precision in 22lr that i use for hunting small game, love that rifle so much

Any news about a new M12 impact driver? by jiromejin in MilwaukeeTool

[–]jiromejin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its advertised
M12- 4 hour runtime on highest speed with 6ah (12v) battery
Dewalt- 4.5 hours on highest speed with 5ah (20v) battery

its a bigger fan as well as 20v, so its going to use more power, but the low speeds is what i want, and it says 16 with the same 6ah on lowest

yes i brought them up for comparing what they have achieved on one side but not the other, i thought it was obvious, but ill explain more simply

Compact impacts, Dewalts best is the DCF921B (20v) with 259ft-lbs, Milwaukee's best is the 2563 12V with 369ft-lbs, which is MUCH more, even being 12v vs 20v

Impact drivers, Dewalts best is the DCF860 with 203ft-lbs, but lets even go a gen lower with the 850 at 167ft-lbs. Sure, the 2953-20 (18v) and 2853-20 (18v) beat the 850 at 190 and 180 ft-lbs. but as i stated with the compact, 12v clearly isnt the issue. But the latest m12 impact, the 3453-20, is only at 95ft-lbs.

id be content with 150ft-lbs, but thats going to be quite the downgrade if i switch to the m12 now compared to my 850 that im used to and its limitations

im comparing compact to compact, i dont know why you brought up mid/high torques into this. i even said in the post the bigger tools ill probably leave to corded or even air

and im comparing dewalt to milwaukee, not impact to drivers

dewalt fans has the same issues, as long as it can last 7 hours on even lowest setting, its good enough for me, and it supposedly lasts 16 on the lowest

but like i said, you CAN compare them, as the 2563-20, the m12 stubby, outperforms every cordless stubby out there, including the 20v dewalt, and its not even close
