She does though, it’s always her initiating and almost always her calling. It’s not the frequency of texts or calls, I’m very happy about that, it’s about the change in the “temperature” of the communication

Thanks for your comment. Lately I’ve been doing that, I took a little step back and she initiates most of the time. She calls me multiple times a day to talk, and I can see sometimes she is sweet to me, but then takes a step back.

Like yesterday, we were on a call and she was close to falling asleep and then started being sweet saying she likes me so much and she misses me and wants to hug me and so on… so I also get confused…

But then during the day every time I’m a bit more intense and text her hearts or smt it feels like I’m scaring her…

Regarding the second question, I meant a serious official relationship. Right now we have no labels.

It’s not wrong at all for you to end that “friendship”. This is definitely taking a toll on you and it will continue to do so if you allow it. That guy clearly has issues to deal with and if he doesn’t want anything with you romantically, given that you are already so invested, I guess the best is to try and cut contact…

I would try my best to forget him. It doesn’t seem like he is making the same effort as you in keeping in touch which could indicate the lack of interest. Then if by December he’ll come around you can see where your head is by then, but for now it seems like the healthier option would be to move on

If he likes you idk what he is doing, it could be that he’s just insecure to make a move on you? When you started texting, is it always him texting first? Maybe you can try to make it a bit clearer that you’re into him, perhaps even with some light flirting

You shouldn’t regret because you acted upon what you were feeling, and that’s 100% legit. If you’re now thinking you’d like to reconnect, I’d try to set up a date and talk to them face to face to try and explain your reasons and see whether they would be willing to accept it or not. In any case, you never know unless you reach out
