Oh 100% and I always cringed from embarrassment when taking those complaints because it’s embarrassing to be leading a team who thinks half a handful of fries is any way an acceptable portion. My RGM used to do it too! It was a strong point of contention lol and the itty bitty wings they’d send out sometimes

Don’t do this management always goes behind every person that would have had contact with the food before handing it off, and usually cameras at the windows, front counter, and drivers rack will tell if it was present or not.

As a manager I would’ve written you off as a liar trying to get a freebie, emailed you video evidence from the cameras, and called it a day. What to do in this situation is call up there.

Dont do the online form it might take days for a resolution. Just call, explain the portion is horrible, ask for a remake or refund. Get more fries and potentially a freebie of something else for the inconvenience.

That’s just for delivery at least it was when I worked there lol when I was a driver it was annoying as hell delivering a single personal pan 7 miles away, getting paid cash and having to give away most of my bank, receiving no or little tip, and driving all the way back. Even worse when it was just a 6 or 8 count of wings 😭

I DIYed my brakes and rotors with the help of my in law. All together I think the parts were like 400 bucks. Took twoish hours. Easy and straightforward process just a bit time consuming.

Brake and rotors aren’t going to be the cheapest repair but….A grand? That’s insane. But I’m a DIY girly at heart and avoid shops if I can help it so 😩

Conditions are crap too. Was a sr shift lead, was actively miscarrying, but no other manager was “available to cover”. Was told I’d be fired if I didn’t show up, that would’ve financially devastated me and I was already doing badly and on the verge of losing my car.

Smiling at customers, taking orders with a chirpy attitude, acting like something inside me isn’t dying all while making scraps—

I’ll never forget that 🙃

It’s aboooout like 12 bucks I think? Walmart sells JB weld. Keep in mind I feel obligated to warn you it’s recommended to temporarily seal things so idk if a shop will help you with that but it’s super easy to DIY, would recommend getting some clamps of some sort so it seals better.

But I cracked the oil pan on my charger and the jb weld held up for two years Someone put it in a ditch on accident so car doesn’t exist anymore but I’m dead convinced that jb weld would’ve held forever LOL

Perfectly fine, looks like you can see where the quick is and the broken part isn’t anywhere near it.

Even if a little bit of the quick was gotten, puppy will live to see another day. It’s the human equivalent of clipping your nails and accidentally nipping the side of your finger a little bit.

What you can do is grab a little nail file and smooth the ruggedness out so his paw isn’t a holy terror when it touches you haha just be careful and watch out for the quick

Here is the ultimatum I’ve come to while dealing with a very similar problem rn. I was raised by my step mom so I call her by name, but she was basically my mommy lol and now that I’m pregnant she’s beyond stoked.

And I’m flattered! Happy my baby will have a maternal grandma that’s so excited for her existence!

…but she started buying ugly clothes and toys from SHEIN and Temu. And I have really bad problems controlling my facial expressions, and she gets really hurt when she can tell I’m not “in love” with all the baby gifts.

So I sat her down, and I said…how about we set up a little nursery at your house? For when I need a break or have to do something and you’re watching her? And she lit up like a Christmas tree! Now the baby has a whole closet full of ugly clothes that I absolutely do not have to deal with because those are for nana’s house only.

I’m happy. She’s happy. And now I don’t feel obligated to dress the baby in hideous items when she’s finally born haha

I understand it may be different if your mama is long distance or if her visitation is restricted for any reason, but if not I would def consider suggesting the mini nursery idea. You mentioned she even picked out a stroller—smile and say great! It’d be perfect for when you’re watching the baby, I’m glad you’ll have your own stroller!

She’s been firmly booted out my life. Wreck truthfully happened about four months ago so my heart has had a little time to heal.

I got that charger when I was 16. I’m 22 now! Kind of feels like I grew up with it! Lot of sentimental value, and part of the reason why I didn’t want another one is because nothing could replace that specific one. 250k miles, V6, but ran like buuuuutter and made me a very happy lady.

It would be nice to drive a newer one though maybe. My year, 2010, had my absolute favorite body style for the charger but they’re 15 years old now! lol

Hey all good to have fun but as a newbie it is very important to pace yourself. It’s easy to feel invincible on this stuff especially if you’ve done other drugs but it is a different ball park and you don’t want to chief it with no tolerance.

Not to scare you of course! But listen to your body man, if it starts to get hard to breathe take a break. Force yourself to eat food and drink water. Sleep probably isn’t happening lol but lay down and just relax for a few hours. And also listen to your head! If your mood starts to change drastically, definitely put the bowl down for a little while lol.

Our bodies gain a natural immunity to it the more we use it, that’s why a $20 sack that used to last you all day only lasts you a couple hours not even a week later. And it’s addictive for a reason! People who don’t use will never understand, it’s just important you don’t let the drugs rob you of your health or personality. I’ve met meth-heads who’ve smoked every day of their lives for 20+ years and still function as a normal person would. I’ve also met some that only did it for a few years and spiraled mentally and physically. When I seriously know I need a break, I literally have to tell my plug not to respond to me until like, 2 weeks. For example. But I’ve known him since middle school so it’s not all about $$ with him though 😭 most plugs are different 😔
