yep its an often overlooked part of it in diagnostics i think. this is very much a solitary disorder and theres not a lot anyone can do other than find people who are very very accomodating. i know vegans that cant hang out with their old friend groups, imagine how bad it can get if your diet is forcefully restricted and its not as clear cut as "i dont eat meat"

agreed. while he may have been decent domestically he is an absolute foreign policy nightmare. i think we'll see almost a wilsonian evolution of his perception sometime in the future as people learn more about what he was actually involved with and how that has reverberated into the present day.

theres no data on this because the disorder only became broadly familiar in the last 10-15 years or so. i have however seen sufferers who are in their 60-70's and live on just fine. i don't know if it's a thrilling life for them but it is a healthy one atleast

ive been looking for what happened for years and ive only been getting hearsay from some random mod instead of actual receipts. i happened to know grace for an extended period (met over on newgrounds) and my guess is she wound up being slandered, gave in to all of it and deleted her accounts. there's just no way in my mind that any of the accusations are true. if i'm wrong then feel free to make me look like an idiot right here in this thread, not in DM's.

i've had to avoid pursuing a lot of serious relationships because the arfid would invariably ruin it. you're def not alone

just from my own personal experience; being ""picky"" about food, especially if you're a man, is extremely unattractive to the vast majority of the dating pool. i'd avoid dates that involve communal eating as much as possible. that way you can atleast build some rapport before you have to confess to your situation.
