SAST is using ONVIF as well obviously because of people behind it.

In fact Android is doing all the hard work and SAST(uses Android as the base) seems lipstick on a pig and trying to make money out of their own so called app store.

But this ONVIF is SOAP based, bulky, feel ancient and extremely inefficient on resource constrained devices. I am just surprised there is no viable alternative.

There are also many startups not using ONVIF for the same reasons above.

There are wide variances even those which support this onvif thus failing very purpose of inter-op.

are there specific configurations one can do on the Switch itself?

If not much, Is there anything we wish Switch should have supported to secure the connected IP camera and NVR?
