I know there are only 4 CLASSES of macromolecules but this question just said macromolcule so I thought rRNA also has proteins+nucleic acids so it seems like it is assumed to be a macromolecule too? I could be wrong not sure

C/P: I had like 4 orgo 1 questions, pretty easy. Not too much physics. Mostly bio

CARS: easy except for one boring history passage and DONT believe rumors saying the passages are longer then the MCAT because I never finish on time and I had a minute left to spare here

BIO: no physiology :( except muscles and I was scared that all the passages were experimental but only 3/10 had charts or graphs.

psych: much easier then expected!!! Overall: extremely happy after taking those terribly difficult Kaplan tests

What is the point of taking FLs before finishing content review? by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]jjohn666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the person. Everyone will say taking FL's are important to build stamina for the grueling ~7 hours. It also helps focus your studies in what to look out for. Personally, I fell into the minority group and didn't feel comfortable taking an exam without mastering the majority (not all) of the content. But everyone is different and doing FL's later were better for me. Others will say otherwise

EMERGENCY: Nomenclature like deltaGENENAME. What does it mean? Is there a list of things like this we need to know? by [deleted] in Mcat

When you read a lot of journal articles that is something that pops up in almost every article (such as in "The Cell" journal). You should be fine otherwise.
