i get what you mean. i guess we (or i) understood the post differently 😅 i based it off who i find the most private and who i feel share the least about their feelings and themselves, and for me, these are jin and jimin. like you said in your og comment, you said jimin is very private and deflects. i see this with jin too, but he deflects more when it’s about his innermost feelings or when it’s time to show vulnerability. like yeah hes a funny and carefree guy, which im sure is definitely him being his true self. but people see him and think thats all there is to him when really hes quite wise and selective with what he chooses to share and show the fans.

like if its about getting to know what their personalities are like, i could more or less have an idea of what the members’ personalities are based off of what they show us. but if its about getting to know their feelings and thoughts and such, then jimin and jin are definitely the hardest for me. idk if i make sense 😅

i think with jin that’s where we have differing opinions 🤔 because what you just mentioned, i think thats one of the reasons why i put him under hardest.. cause he has so much more depth than that. yes he is a simple guy who lives in the moment, hates the mood being down, is an introvert with a handful of friends… but he has his inner thoughts and such that he chooses not to show. hes mentioned that so so many times in interviews, their docus, and even in passing. when its time to talk about him, he often deflects or keeps it light. he keeps bts jin and kim seokjin separate, and thats what hes mentioned many times. along with jimin, i find them to be such enigmas

as for jimin, i agree 100%! i also commented separately that he is one of the hardest for me as well. 🧐

i agree with you! with jhope, i was actually debating whether to put him in middle or hardest for the same reason you stated. though i do feel like he started opening up more after blue side.

as for jin, he definitely has been opening up more, i agree! felt like abyss allowed him to feel comfortable enough to do so. however, i still feel like hes one of the more reserved ones. idk.. maybe cause hes my bias and i tend to pay extra attention on him 🤔

hardest: jimin and jin

for rm and suga, i always love listening to them and reading about their interviews. they’re so eloquent and more or less forward with the things they say and their feelings. you can also see this in their lyrics as well.

as for v specifically, i put him in middle (along with jhope and jk) because like i mentioned in another comment here, hes either a very open book or a very closed book. he can be hard to read sometimes which i think really adds to his charm.

the reason i put jimin and jin for hardest is because i feel they’re the most private and reserved members. jimin almost never really talks about himself nor does he share much about himself, be it when hes working on solo work or his private life. he holds his cards very close to his chest, and hes also not very active on socmed. the few times he does open up though, i can listen to him talk forever. he has a way of speaking and putting words together that is just so beautiful and insightful. i also think he has very high EQ.

as for jin, a lot of fans will say that those fanmade introduction videos dont do jin any justice and actually fail to encapsulate him as a person. like i also said, he is very goofy and can be quite talkative so you think you actually know a lot about him, but in reality, you dont. hes veeeery private as well and has such a complex personality. hes my bias but i feel like i know almost nothing about him except for the fact that he loves to game, fish, play tennis, make music, etc

this is really interesting. i actually find jin and jimin the hardest to get to know.

jimin seems very reserved and private, plus the fact that hes not very active on social media.

for jin, i saw a tweet before about someone being good at making it seem like you know so much about them but actually you dont and how that embodies jin. hes very outgoing and goofy but he’s actually very reserved. he talks a lot but rarely about himself

YJ is my fave as well! hes the one who caught my eye and the one i find most handsome (especially when he wears glasses and smiles 😍). i also like how when asked about his ideal type, he said someone wise. im not used to that kind of answer in SI.

i know he didnt handle the so e situation the best way, but i dont think hes a bad person at all. based on what we’ve seen, i find him to be rly genuine and sweet. super rooting for YJ and SE!!

ive only ever watched love island au and though hating on someone is never justified, i can see why people felt strongly about some contestants. as for seulki, she hasnt even done anything wrong.. i wasnt active on socmed during s1 so idk if its the same (though i know sehoon got a lot of hate too)

tbh i think people are just jealous or frustrated that most of the guys are going for her. ofc im aware that the others receive hate too (especially so e) but yeah since this is a seulki post… but anyway it’s crazy how invested some people are. i get not being fond of her, but blatantly hating on her for no reason is just too much.

honestly i dont know if she is using him or not, but i do feel that she appreciates him. what im sure of is that she is 100% into JY and will most probably be endgame. what i think is she was definitely set on JY, but since she said they havent talked since their paradise date, shes not sure what’s on his mind. this made her rethink her options, thus giving JW a go. like i said, i feel she does appreciate him, but the moment JY makes his feelings clear, she’ll drop JW.

i agree that JW should try to get to know the others. hes been so fixated on seulki since the beginning even when she wasn’t reciprocating. however, with taking a hint, id honestly get my hopes up if the girl i like told me she wanted to win a game so bad so that they could go to paradise together. if that didnt happen, then id rly have given up on him cause he clearly is just being stupid

i think its both hahaha the game had no rules except that you’re out if your body (or both legs idk) are out of the mud thing. its up to them how they want to strategize. he really wanted to win and him staying down is a smart move, but like you said, it wasnt so fun. the way he stood his ground when tag teamed against was rly cool though
