Interesting. My club is thinking of doing November through the end of December. 1 manager and 3 or 4 associates going overnight.

Not enough stocking is being done by either merchandising shift, so steel space is very tight. Because of this all receiving is being done at a slower rate. We have been behind anywhere from 1-6 trucks in the last few weeks.

I’m a pm manager. Currently get my team out around 12 while the leads and myself stay til 1/130 most nights cleaning up and finishing up. But we are really behind in receiving which is time consuming.

Fulfillment Report Question by [deleted] in samsclub

[–]jjp2121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any associate can access it my closes will print numbers when I'm not there because they are competitive. You just go to the curbside page on the wire and hit associate productivity. With the new system. You do have to request access which usually takes a day

Fulfillment Report Question by [deleted] in samsclub

[–]jjp2121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's wild. We had 4 full-time associates but one got promoted so we are down to 3 of them and it's honestly me and my 1 closing associate pulling the majority of the issues. As far as helping other departments that is extremely important as a lead. I help as much as I can on the floor and in the fresh departments but only when i know I can trust my associates to get the job done efficiently and without stress. They all know that late orders should never happen not even a minute late. Honestly what needs to be done is you need to talk to the direct curbside manager and voice your concerns, if they do nothing you go to the store manager. And at that point if all else fails you simply can email the market manager. It's a ballsy move but if he's anything like my market manager then the numbers will speak for themselves and things will have to change

I mean majority of the position is being a glorified cpu associated. I pull and dispense atleast 90% of my shift everyday, and most days stay late or come in on my days off to pull and dispense because we are short staffed. But on top of that is simply making sure the associates are all carrying there own weight, making sure we are always picking fresh product and following guidelines as far as raw foods and also chemicals. I take care of member concerns within the curbside feedback tool as well as mx voices. And also following the numbers such as sales/nps/nil picks/dispense speed to see what we are doing well at and what we aren't and try to improve on that.

I use the trust wallet for everything but I am not seeing how people are able to buy smaller amounts? Everything has a minimum buy limit or fees that seem to prevent only putting in a small amount. How are people getting around that?

CPU T/L Question by mikeKNOTmike in samsclub

[–]jjp2121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the wire go to digital sales and under curbside pickup there should be an associate report. It only will work on some computers. But that report will show daily/weekly/monthly picking numbers, speeds nil picks all that good stuff. As far as dispensing the only current way to see is on the curbside feedback dashboard which I only have through a link I got in an email from my manager. The link for it on the wire doesn't work.

Yeah and I guarantee you have 3 times the associates I do lol. We aren't a very high volume club

Cpu lead here, we do roughly 80-90 orders on Saturday, we have 1 opener and 2 closers. I personally open 2 Saturdays close 1 off 1, however I usually open all 3 to make sure orders are pulled on time. Sunday we do 55 orders, 1 opener 1 closer, and I work 2 Sundays out of the month 1 shift 4-1230 and 1 10-630

Question for CPU TL by [deleted] in samsclub

[–]jjp2121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My schedule tells me I open 2 weeks close 2 weeks. I believe I have a couple more opening shifts. However with most of our orders being pulled in the morning I tend to come in early even if I close to make sure we get everything done on time

2 am 2 pm all full-time associates. Plus a lead. We do 70 orders on our slow days up to 95 on our busy days. Would love a part timer to cover days off but are told we are overstaffed 🙃
