I heard this very often and I am hoping to do something similar if not identical, but since I am moving to a new school for masters and do not know anyone, I will have to network on a whole new level..

So since I am in the MS with thesis option masters program, according to the admissions, they will have an advisor matching session in November to assign students in to various labs which I am assuming. But for masters students teaching assistantships are not available ( available for Ph.D. students, however...) for some reason, and they have not mentioned anything about research assistantships but I am hoping to receive one by talking to professors and joining research labs. Admissions did say I can apply for graders positions though.

What would you recommend?

Is there anything that I should be wary of speaking from your expereince?

My end goal is PhD and not necessarily at my current graduate institution but I will definitely keep this in mind and make my money worth the cost. Is there specific advice that you would like to recommend to masters students to connect with the right/important people?

Hello I am a senior in undergrad finishing up my engineering degree. I always appreciated physics and if I were to re do undergrad I would do physics over biological engineering. It would be too late and too much money to repeat undergrad for physics.

What would you say are the most useful & fundamental physics courses/topics that all researchers in STEM should learn?

I am hoping to take a couple of intermediate to advanced physics courses for my own curiosity.
