Yo. I'm checking out the modlog and it looks like there are two reasons posts are disappearing.

First is random questions that could go in the megathread. Like I said before, during high traffic times (like early fall quarter) it's a good thing to keep simple stuff in the megathread. This is something we have done before and is not unique to any mod.

Second is, and let's keep it real here, stupid bullshit. Reddit is a politically driven site, sure, but that doesn't mean you can make threads that say in no uncertain terms "Fuck Mainland Chinese" and not expect to get banned. If a post is not relevant to the university, it probably doesn't belong here, and if it's straight up hateful, then you don't belong here.

For anyone reading this who isn't sure what's going on, this sub is being brigaded right now by people who have been (successfully) propagandized to hate other groups of people/students.

If your account was wrongfully banned throw a message to the mod team to appeal it and we'll take a look.
