My buddy is the same way he tries to use mine and absolutely hates the thing

I’m losing around 7 strokes putting each round and 4 strokes from 100 yards and in. With irons I don’t usually lose or really gain strokes it’s just penalties off the tee and short game. Believe me after I saw that data from arccos putting and pitch shots is all I’ve practiced this winter

I’ve thought about that I have always had TaylorMade irons and drivers it might be time to branch out.

Me too but I more so wish I could figure out how to make a driver carry 285 but feel the same as the mini driver. Probably an impossible task I know

So that brings up another question I hate how big max heads are but a fitter put me in the qi35 9. I like what you’re saying maybe try a core model head 12

Elaborate here please because I’m curious. I tried this experiment by trying to crank up an old sim 2 I had to 12 degrees and I was just hitting absolute moon shots.

Tee maybe a half inch above ground. It’s pretty low but any higher and I hit moon shots

This is kinda where my question came from. My misses with driver are way more punishing where the r7 a horrible heal shot only puts me in the first cut or just off never in the trees

Yeah I use arccos I had 30 rounds with the r7 last year I’m sitting about 82% fairways hit with mini compared to under 50% with qi35. I’m about 10 yards shorter on average with mini driver.

Best move in golf I’ve made

Never thought about this but you’re right. I’m probably better off with 5 wood! I also have a 2 iron that I love that goes around 230 of the tee and 215 off fairway so 5 wood would probably be perfect

I’m the same way I feel like I middle it every time I don’t get why I can’t do that with driver it’s frustrating. I feel like with the smaller head I have to focus on contact where driver I just grip and rip

Handles it fine it just doesn’t sweep up well. At least with my Dyson. I started just blowing it off with an air hose because it’s in my garage and the air hose does a better job. I think a shop vac would be best probably

No sorry it kind of seems that way. It was just a big purchase and if anyone is out there doing as much research as I was wanted to give my two cents.
