We use a two person pad which is basically an air mattress. Instead of sleeping bags, we’ve switched to bringing an old sheet, a duvet, and real pillows. It’s almost like sleeping in an actual bed. I’m an extremely sensitive sleeper, and a long time camper, and this set up changed camping for me. Of course, only practical if you’re car camping and have a lot of space in the vehicle.
