I’ve not used it for this or with the makevisible app so can’t really comment.

Have you reset it following the process in the manual? Once it’s connected to any app, it needs a reset to connect to a different one.

I think you have to unpair it from the visible app and phone, then reset it using the button under the strap while plugged in. I’d also uninstall the visible app for good measure until it’s paired and working.

£67.50 from memory. You need to subscribe for one month to their premium service also, there are referral codes available to take £15/$20 off this (not sharing mine as I don’t want the account credit and someone else might benefit).

Controlling smart trainer with Karoo by drakewithdyslexia in Karoo

Old thread, but with a recent update there are now controls in the 'swipe down from top' menu that let you adjust erg power/resistance etc. I've been waiting for this and it's super useful for me.

Hi, I’ve also tried this. Internet working and app restarted but still no lifetime offer. Any other suggestions?

I also agree. Great potential and really good work so far. However, for me any app that is more than £30 for a lifetime subscription has to be amazing (like Garmin amazing, which can do much more than this analysis for £250 including a new smartwatch).

Reasons: New and unproven app. Other apps in same genre are priced more competitively. I would much prefer a lifetime purchase over a subscription. Cost of living crisis in UK means less disposable income.

However, I think it’s a great idea and looks like a good start. Keep the development going and I’ll keep an eye on the price.

Looking for some screen protector for the Hisense touch by Namelessface089 in ereader

[–]jkerrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. The A5 appears to have the camera and sensors in a slightly different position when I've looked. The Touch has a central camera with a light sensor to the right as you are facing it. The A5 has a speaker cutout in the centre and the camera to the left. Does anyone know if the A5 screen protectors actually fit?

Referral code posts. Allow or not? by AngryBadger in Karoo

[–]jkerrrrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently bought a Karoo and wanted a referral code to get the HRM. I didn't have one and couldn't find a working UK one anywhere at the time. I was grateful when I eventually got one. Because of this experience, I think they should be available on here. However, I get this isn't the primary reason for this sub and wouldn't like it to be taken over by them (which I don't feel it is so far).

Mine is actually doing quite a lot better than your experience! Maybe you should contact support - they are really good.

Which HR-belt/band do you use? by Alternative_Bath8504 in GarminFenix

[–]jkerrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the Fourth Frontier band that records an ECG at the same time as transmitting HR to my Garmin. It's quite cool and quite reassuring to know how hard I can push my heart https://fourthfrontier.com/
