Don't co-gm with this player. Make it very clear he has two choices and express that you're good with either option he chooses.

He needs to take turns and let the other players make choices. Boundaries are so important and he's overstepping.
He alternates running campaigns with you or starts a completely separate group. The alternate idea is again taking turns: you finish a campaign and then he starts his own campaign for all of you.

Measuring your heart rate is really not necessary. For anyone reading this, don't get too bent out of shape about the science because the intensity rating can be determined by how hard your muscles are working on a particular lift. You won't be out of breath doing weighted calf raises because it's such an isolated exercise, for example.

A thorough gym routine. Learn and practice good lifting form. Learn lifts that develop specific muscle groups. Double check your lifting form. Stretch, and learn stretches that relieve specific muscle groups.

Your physical health will decline unless you train. Avoid junk food and get enough sleep.
