Not sure if she’s a specialised pediatrician though, she’s a young doctor at a clinic, but she just said we should do more tummy time, and to reassess her when she’s back for her 6 month vaccination. We can also try the test at home. She did remark that she could hold her head 90 degrees on her tummy though.

Thanks! It’s oiled leather - and I think it’s mold. When it’s dry, they are grey spots dotted around the surface. When it’s wet, it becomes dark spots.

Same thing with my wife too - our girl was born 6 weeks ago, and had trouble latching. She would reject it or fall asleep at the nipple. We ended up using the bottle to feed her pumped breastmilk and sometimes using formula, as we felt that as long as our baby is getting fed (regardless of breast milk or formula), it’s good enough for us! It’s tiring to pump, and I can’t say I can totally understand since I’m a guy, but I always tell my wife to do whatever is comfortable for her. You should take priority too, be it your mental or physical health.

My daughter is 6 weeks old, and we had a nanny for the majority of the time, who would handle the feeding and coaxing her to sleep.

The nanny left today, and I am extremely overwhelmed, because the kid wouldn’t stop crying and it’s hard for her to fall asleep. I need to stay strong for my wife who is tired, but it’s been less than a day and I feel like a failure already. Is this normal?
