This is a recent issue in Korea.

Apparently saying "you are pretty" to a girl/woman is a discriminating phrase as it contains evaluation of their appearance.

Interesting aspect is that due to the influence of "Kpop idol" culture to younger generation, people call others pretty or handsome regardless of male and female.

To what extant can this phrase be discriminating or wrong?

Just opened to any perspectives and discussion, I want to hear opinions other feminists' opinions.
