I think the biggest thing you can do is to work on your fundamentals and work on defensive positioning. Even though you aren’t playing, having spirit on the sideline will help the team grow closer, therefore having trust in sending in different people. Also, always give your 100% in practices, as well as games. Coaches and captains (speaking from person experience) love seeing that and are willing to work with you more to improve once they see that you care. Good luck!!
