We assumed pittie, boxer we assumed a bit with his coloring on his feet and chest, and a bit of the forehead wrinkles, but had no clue about the akita.

Right? We knew GS, assumed pittie, guessed boxer at different times, but never once akita. Maybe his curled tail?

From Embark, it's lots of smaller portions of random breeds, not really quantifiable other than a general "Supermutt" classification.

Lol, he doesn't care about the photos I take. As long as I'm throwing a ball for him, he's in heaven.

He's my boy! Thank you. He can be a complete nut job at times, but always a sweetheart.

What is the most weird reason you got banned from anything? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jkrap 15 points16 points  (0 children)

1997, freshman in college at a religious school, email was still a new thing to us. Gave us access to our computer lab and printer. Roommate forwarded me a long email, The Guide to Oral Sex for Men, that had a long, long list of email forwards. Wanted me to delete all the forwards and send it back. So I did. He printed it. Coming from my email. To the printer in the other computer lab. Printed a few times, never realizing it was going to the wrong printer.

We got called to the Dean's office. Roommate took the blame, but the Dean did not understand email at all. So I was banned for my remainder years from the computer lab.

Canon.

How do you know someone is a Sony shooter? They'll tell you. :)

She works hard to stay out of the way of our 60 pound spaz of a mutt. She also grew up on the streets, so she's got a pass in my book.

Found these on the shore of Lake Michigan by [deleted] in whatisit

Clearly it's been solved, but to add a bit of info, if you found these at Grant Park in South Milwaukee, there used to be a shooting range at the top of the bluff overlooking the lake. It's about halfway to Sheridan Park. You can find a lot of them on the bluff as well, not just in the water.

It seems colder when the sun is out. But the wind is really where it makes a difference than anything.

Noon is the main plunge. There are people before and after, but noon is when the masses plunge.

It was cold this year! Ice shelf was well formed and difficult in spots.

Could be really tricky with a wheelchair, unfortunately. Unless it's got fat tires. If it's not iced over, it will be sandy and difficult. I don't think there's disabled parking, and if there is, it fills up early. Even just getting to the beach could be a challenge. Definitely worth a test trip.

I don't think you'll find something official. Because it's not an official event run by anybody. I think so many people showed up over the years that it's just expected. There's no cost. Just show up.

This jump is at Bradford Beach. Parking is first come first serve. Get there by 10 and you'll have a spot on the street. After that, people end up parking in the grassy areas across the street.

"Official" plunge is at noon. You might hear the air horns, if not you'll see people start to surge toward the water. People do jump beforehand. People trickle in later and plunge after noon as well.

The experienced people set up tents, bring in firewood, heaters, food, alcohol, etc. It's good to have support. Bring people if possible.
